But I will walk over hot coals, I would make polite conversation with my maga relatives, I will do anything to vote for the Democrats. People who aren’t willing to help put the GOP into its grave do not grasp the severity of the situation.

It would be a mistake to expect that majority will be forthcoming without identifying some of the Democrats own misdirections and making amends. Make your own choices about what specifically the Democrats need to do, but realize they own much of this mess and anything less than that acknowledging will test the fates.

He has not used the power he does have (such as investigating and prosecuting federally hospitals which fail to provide lifesaving care) to protect women in the United States.

The FBI should be investigating police misconduct in the case TIME Magazine broke where a 12 year old rape victim in Mississippi was denied any investigation into her (immediately reported) rape after the birth of her child. Months after a ten year old was raped and forced to flee her state to get medical care, he said two sentences about abortion in the State of the Union.
He has not used the power he does have (such as investigating and prosecuting federally hospitals which fail to provide lifesaving care) to protect women in the United States.
He has said not one word about the plight of U.S. Citizens (not Palestinian civilians, U.S. Citizens) trapped in Gaza at risk of death every day right now. He hasn’t called their families. He has not called upon Israel to protect them as citizens of their ally.
That’s what’s not enough.
But here’s the thing, and I hope someone takes this to heart. A year is a long time. He could start fixing some of this tomorrow. Heck, today. But not if people around him say hey don’t worry you’re better than Trump!
He does have to win Michigan. He does have to win women. He has to start acting like it.
What more do you want him to say? He is pro Choice as a policy. He has his DOJ investigating and prosecuting where it can. The GOP set this up as a "state" issue. Biden is losing military appointments because a single GOP senator is protesting military health policy over abortion.
Again, short of having more SCOTUS appointments or more Dem Senators to pass a law codifying Roe, what do you expect him to do? You stated earlier in the thread that words are not enough, but now you are criticizing him for not saying more.

1. The FBI should be investigating every case in which a woman was turned away from a hospital and went on to have life-threatening complications. Hospitals are relying on legal peril only coming from the right and are making decisions accordingly, they need to know the FBI will turn up in their offices for women hemorrhaging in bathrooms because they’re denied care. He can do that literally tomorrow. He should have done it a year ago.
2. The FBI should be investigating police misconduct in the case TIME Magazine broke where a 12 year old rape victim in Mississippi was denied any investigation into her (immediately reported) rape after the birth of her child. Again, public condemnation should be coming from the President. It looks now as though he’s just counting on those raped children to help galvanize people to help him get reelected, he has a duty to those women and children today.
How do you know the FBI ISN'T investigating these things?
In the alternative, do we really want law enforcement investigating every circumstance like this? I mean, in GOP states, this is happening every day. It is horrible, but it isn't a crime in those states, and our federal laws have been blown up.

Months after a ten year old was raped and forced to flee her state to get medical care, he said two sentences about abortion in the State of the Union.
He has not used the power he does have (such as investigating and prosecuting federally hospitals which fail to provide lifesaving care) to protect women in the United States.
He has said not one word about the plight of U.S. Citizens (not Palestinian civilians, U.S. Citizens) trapped in Gaza at risk of death every day right now. He hasn’t called their families. He has not called upon Israel to protect them as citizens of their ally.
That’s what’s not enough.
But here’s the thing, and I hope someone takes this to heart. A year is a long time. He could start fixing some of this tomorrow. Heck, today. But not if people around him say hey don’t worry you’re better than Trump!
He does have to win Michigan. He does have to win women. He has to start acting like it.
What more do you want him to say? He is pro Choice as a policy. He has his DOJ investigating and prosecuting where it can. The GOP set this up as a "state" issue. Biden is losing military appointments because a single GOP senator is protesting military health policy over abortion.

But I will walk over hot coals, I would make polite conversation with my maga relatives, I will do anything to vote for the Democrats. People who aren’t willing to help put the GOP into its grave do not grasp the severity of the situation.
If putting “the GOP into its grave” is at all important, you need a much, much bigger majority. It would be a mistake to expect that majority will be forthcoming without identifying some of the Democrats own misdirections and making amends. Make your own choices about what specifically the Democrats need to do, but realize they own much of this mess and anything less than that acknowledging will test the fates.
Democrats admit their mistakes. You need to look no further than Al Franken or the fire alarm guy. Things happen. The democrats don't circle the wagons the way the GOP does. It needs a Watergate style electoral wipe out so it can be remade into some sort of conservative party based on actual limited government etc and not the selective limited government where ownership of women's bodies and who uses what bathrooms are a proxy for imposition of religious morals on the populace.

Because none of it does what is actually needed. It's posturing. Democrats love to pat themselves on the back to for doing the absolute bare minimum, then stepping back letting Republicans undo it, and shrug and say welp we tried. It's all a game, bought and paid for by our corporate oligarchs.

Many never get that the Democrats have their own fatted cows and oligarchic interests. Biden has been more than crystal clear that he sides peace and he sides with the Palestinian people and the Israeli's. The enemy here is Hamas.

His actions speak far louder than any 5 minute speech he will ever give. He has given Israel carte blanche to murder Arabs indiscriminately - both after October 7 and the decades leading up to it. This did not start 2 weeks ago
