The problem is structural. Her body has been manufactured to be the pedestrian definition of sexy and probably looks good naked in a barbie kind of way. It is not a normal clothes kind of body and as a result, she has an awkward time looking refined and tasteful. But an easy fix would definitely be to choose lower heels.

Oh my gosh 0 yes. I wonder if she could get Barbie's designers to make her some clothes? I wonder if she had her feet surgically altered too so they are -- like Barbie -- always in that high heel position. Perhaps that's why she wears those shoes.

She wore sneakers somewhere in South America, I don’t remember where.

I love it too. This may be one of the best outfits she has worn. And much more work appropriate than most of her stuff.


Besides the sleeves (die, bell sleeve trend), this fits her well and is a great color. And you guys, nude pumps! That's what we wanted for her. Our baby is growing up and learning! No matching dyed greenish pumps. I like those pumps and actually want a pair with a much more sensible heel ( just not, you know, 5 inch stiletto... I don't ask for a lot).

The woman is absolutely stunning.

Just imagining this green giant fetish of yours...

Here she is again! I think this is work appropriate, so well done to her, but I don't really like the huge gold buttons going in a cross over her body.

Nice dress. Fits! Doesn't photograph well because of all the dots but who cares.

That’s Prada? It looks like dress barn. I hate those big gold buttons. And the cut is somehow very .... not polished. And I’m even a polka dot fan!

Also whoever said these tacky fools were just the worst of the eighties, this dress is your proof. All she needs is shoulder pads and big hair and perfume strong enough to remove varnish.

A friend told me about a friend of her mother's who in her old age could not wear flat shoes at all--high heeled bedroom slippers till she was actually in bed.

Although I did see the pic with the sneakers--almost high tops in that goofy beige dress.
