Simple: he was provided the code or door was left open by BB or AP and he was given prior instruction. CB was likely drugged like the wife in France so as to not be a threat to the plan. That also explains no defensive wounds or signs of struggle. It's unclear where she was stabbed before being moved to the bed, LE has not disclosed. What she was sedated with has not been disclosed but will come out at one or both trials. Nothing else explains no signs of struggle when being stabbed, skin under nails and scratches on BB, etc. No defensive actions is not a matter of trust, any animal will fight for survival at close range. Had she been tied up there would be marks from trying to free herself as JR was being killed with multiple shots, as they rummaged for the knife, as she was approached with the knife, etc. Sedation could also slow the rate at which she bled out. BB already had her "out of the picture" for the event, even while still alive. Max control over victims and situation. Then when JR entered was ambushed, held at gunpoint , backed into corner, shot in head by BB, shot in heart by AP. He made that reference to CB years earlier to another affair partner. JR's knife was removed from backpack and used by BB to stab CB repeatedly in neck. Then bodies were moved and staged. Above fits details provided by LE. JR and CB had no agency that morning, that was removed prior to lives being ended. The fact that JR was induced to bring a knife even though that wasn't usually his thing and that his knife was used to kill CB establishes sequence. All that is not know is details of tox screen and where her body was stabbed before being moved and staged. |

If she was not on the bed, where could she have been that she would be controlled and contained? Unconscious or not.
JR was told to go to the master bedroom and given direction or he was ambushed by BB and AP downstairs and directed upstairs at gunpoint. He was killed. Poor man. His backpack was likely in the master with Joe with the knife. They retrieved it and went where? Presumably she was upstairs, otherwise too hard and messy to move. Were they sleeping separately by that point? Was forensic evidence found in a guest BR? If that is where she was she may never have seen JR, perhaps heard shots but may have been unconscious. Maybe whatever sleeping aid, Ambien, etc. caused her to not die/bleed as quickly as they expected? Or maybe they needed all the time between calls to move and stage? Did they attempt to clean blood evidence that indicated moving CB? This is like a super sick game of Clue. Had she been killed on the bed, not so many worries about forensics, that blood would have supported all versions of stories. Her being stabbed and then moved must have created a lot of blood trail. The staging not matching with the visible blood evidence + BB not asking about wife were likely what got LE focused on him immediately. Kneeling is very different blood evidence than standing, Joe was tall. How was the child contained so she wouldn't run up looking for mommy? Or go outside to a neighbor? |

The one thing that certain PPs keep asserting without ANY evidence from police is that CB was drugged.
That's a HUGE leap from what is publicly known. All the other hypotheses about who was where and who did what are based on the pieces of evidence that we know. But, the whole premise that she was drugged is entirely unsupported despite recent international events. The strongest theories of the case account for CB's whereabouts and actions without adding drugs into the theory. |

It best accounts for no signs of struggle or defensive actions or wounds to BB as she fought for her life. What else explains? Very simple to do. Then only 1 victim to overpower. What are your theories as to where she was? Why do you think there were no signs of struggle? Why do you think there were no scratches to BB as CB fought for her life? |

We know BB and AP went in the back door for nefarious reasons and to most easily stash child in ap suite. Much of the speculation was answered at the hearing on Friday, order of deaths, how they entered the house (presumably JR entered front door). We know where JR was killed. We know he was fully clothed. We know he basically appeared in house and was shot to death, all of the actions re: the knife were done by BB per LE. We know the knife that killed CB, the one BB/AP instructed JR to bring with him. We know both victims were moved and the scene was staged. We know cut pjs were found in master as BB/AP had instructed, had to be them to cut them off with Joe's knife after he was shot twice. Not clear if cut off prior to CB being killed and moved or after, will come out at trial, doesn't really matter. We don't know if Joe and CB were ever in the same room prior to death. We don't know who the woman was when JR believed he met with both Banfields in a public place. We don't know how CB was incapacitated or where she was stabbed repeatedly prior to being moved to the bed in the master. Thinking she was incapacitated is common sense not a "huge leap." Even their deaths were about control for BB, why would he give her any ability to mess up his long dreamed of plan? Erase and replace, keep all assets and maybe add LI payout. BB had been wanting to off his wife for years, talked about it to multiple affair partners. Slipping her crushed pills so she could not derail his plans is a no brainer. |

The going back to the house for any reason is made up to deflect from the conspiracy to murder. I wouldn't be surprised if there were lunches in the car or if CB had given JPM money to buy the kid lunch. Of course, Christine is not here to tell us. Idea for going to the zoo was likely proposed to CB by JPM or BB, setting their narrative in play. While also trying to smear her, as someone likely TB has done here, as getting them out of the house for a visitor. They really thought they were so clever with these details. But, like LE has said all along, a lure and a ruse. Does anyone know if CB worked overnights? People I know who do are more likely to have sleeping meds on hand, easy to slip into something, maybe some food or drink linked to BB's bday celebration. If she was sleeping in a guest room on a festive night she must have been quite sad in the time leading up to her death. Moved from somewhere. More to come at Juliana's trial, now only weeks away. |

It's not looking good for BB. This is just like that case posted about in the locked thread where a husband tried to blame a lured patsy but got convicted years later, in part due to having run his mouth to other women. BB told AP to keep mouth shut but apparently was pretty free in own pillow talk. Although a healthy person would FLEE not f*&k a man talking about offing his wife.
This detail stands out and won't play well with a jury. He seems very socially awkward, could have tried to play the role of faux concerned husband a little better. Tick tock, TB. You are a little too free with remarks yourself. Not too wise. |
