Is VDA the best club to get recruited from?

My DD is trying out for VSA tomorrow (u15 for next year) do they take a lot kids from the partner clubs as they age older?

Internal promotion is limited to a couple of players per season. To secure an ECNL roster spot, players frequently have to seek opportunities with outside club

That's the correct question to ask, and the answer lies in how you're viewed by BP.

Indeed. The forwards get to play and get highlights. Pretty much the families he is scared to rock the boat with can do what they want. The other supporting cast has to fall in line or else you may ride the bench.

Sucks because those players miss out on the HS experience playing against team mates and friends while a select few get more highlights for instahype.

BS most are playing HS if not all of them

Very few if any of the 2010s are playing HS. It was strongly discouraged.

This is correct. They will tell you kids "can" play HS soccer but definitely discouraged. I don't think any 10s are playing and only a couple of 11s that are playing. It's definitely not common to play.

Honestly, not many unfortunately. If she's good, she can go to another "big club" and make a name for herself and maybe eventually come back. They are collectors at older ages.

Before the argument shifted to “VDA is the best for college recruitment”, wasn’t the argument “VDA is best for development”?

How many players did VDA develop on the older group U19 & U17? I know most of them came from different clubs

BP has short man disease.. he wants to control everything the girls do and holds college coaches coming to practice and showcases over their heads to get them to fall in line. Once committed they should play high school if they want before then play at your own risk.

The funny thing is, VDA is quick to claim credit the moment a player makes First Team All-District or All-Region

Ok..according these 28 pages BP is quite toxic. You know there is club leadership you can meet with. You are a paying customer. You have options and they know it. Set up a meeting with Quan and discuss rationally your issues. I don't understand why parents can't use their words and do anything to solve the BP problems. Do better.

Oh no they don't care. They will be diplomatic about it and silence with no actions and to be honest no one dares to complain in fear of consequences. Sure you can say go to a different club/ team but sometimes there are other factors prohibiting you from able to make a switch.

Funny thing is, parents don't realize it is actually the Club/ Team Coach who nominates those players from the team in the first place.

How can a club coach nominate players for HS award?
