Is VDA the best club to get recruited from?

I think that’s why ML and QP allow BP’s wife to train all the VDA kids and essentially double‑dip. It seems like a major conflict of interest—she trains the VDA players while families may feel pressured to join her sessions to ensure their kids get the same level of attention. The whole situation feels really messy.

How do VDA players balance training with her as well as training with HP? Do both?

Do both or ride the pine.

This post is hilarious.

Completely fitting of the state of our country.

Propaganda, propaganda, propaganda.

As long as his contract is still good. I'd bet another club pays more once he's a free agent.

Only team that I have seen that has had similar commits is Richmond. They have a few players that are 2028 grad year, but all their 2027s committed to D1. Still not as many as VDA though.

VDA hasn’t won any championships. What they have is a big connection at the top org that oversees ECNL and all these other agencies which business move around it like TDS, etc.

I’d add Arlington to that list of connections. On the boys side, both teams are always the first to get added to ID sessions for DC United, etc., but a majority of the time it goes nowhere. Wonder why DC United is a dumpster fire, read above.

Please do your research into BPs wife be you let her train your kid.

BP wife is a great trainer, all that "research" is crap. One player who was out to get her. You can't please everyone. She trains plenty of non vda players as well. Sucks she doesn't have time for your kid, keep whining.

that actually sounds frightening/disturbing. Its not that serious is it? Players stalking a TDs wife is not on my bingo card yet here we are in 2026

Just because all of these VDA girls go D1 does not mean they are on that level. Half of them will likely not be playing soccer after freshman or sophomore years.

BP could sell ice to an Eskimo. Low level players benefit drastically from being able to play with great players. BP takes full advantage of that. Don’t believe me? Feel free to research former FCV D1 players.

Although she was undeniably a standout player, her coaching tenure at GMU was deeply problematic. Numerous athletes reported that her methods were excessively harsh and damaging to team morale. I have been told that the situation deteriorated to the point where players formally expressed their concerns to the athletic department, prompting administrative intervention.

There are about 40-50 girls from this area who commit to D1’s each year. That number isn’t going to change no matter how those players are spread across clubs. This year VDA has managed to recruit the bulk of those players. Some years it’s more spread out. But for those players it has little to do with the club they play for, even though parents think it does. Those same players could be at any number of other clubs and land the same D1’s. Because they are the best 40-50 soccer players in the area.

Isn't VDA giving free rides to D1 commits for the marketing in order to secure the funding from wannabe's down the chain who pay full freight for 3rd team?

The bulk of the player movement happened when BP left TSJ. Added pieces since then, but when all the imported players age out, will the results remain? Possibly.
