It was all a rouse; Trump wants a shutdown. He probably had Johnson allow all the crap so Elon and co. could make a stink about it. And the second CR (conveniently written in a matter of hours) vote only hurts Dems who are too busy whining about Trump and Elon to read the bill and vote against a shut down and provide aid to Americans. They are playing 3D chess. |

The original agreement was 1500+ pages of wish list goodies and a pay raise. We need to stop the whole debt ceiling nonsense and at least make an attempt to live within our means. They want to go home for the holidays, they will come up with something. |
