Let them reap what they sow

But I so wish for it all to work out just as we know it will. Let them lose their healthcare and social security and welfare. Let them all get deported, every single one of them. Let our stocks go up while they wallow in their paycheck to paycheck. Let their families go hungry and sick. Let Musk cut the government in half, all of it. Let their women bleed out in hospitals.

We will be fine but I cannot wait, cannot I tell you, for them to reap what they sow.

You are evil.
I am a low income person and I voted for Kamala.
Thanks for wishing death on me.
Enjoy your progressive day

I live in an area where minimum wages are $17/hr+. Yes wage growth is great. It also means a 16 oz latte is $7.58 (not $3.5 like it is in places where min wage is the federal limit).
Extrapolate that to the grocery store next and restaurants.
Very few employers just pay more per hour and take it fully out of their profits.

Very typical thinking for progressives. You want the "other" to suffer while your stocks go up. Everyone senses your hatred. And you are not winning elections with your spite.

So what should we do? Storming the Capitol? Telling the rally goers s to shoot our opponents? Shoot the press? Punch an old lady?

We will find out soon, since the republicans have all the government branches. Just stop whining.

Things might be fine if they weren't so predictable, but in no time, their greed will lead us into something that makes Bush2's time in office look great. They can't help themselves. Before long, they'll deregulate the financial sector or start a few multitrillion-dollar wars. They really can't help themselves.

Umm...the first trump "presidency" already made "bush2's time in office look great". Scary as that sounds. This one will make W look like a friggin genius.

I called my mom to commiserate and she said the same things about keeping our chins up, we'll be great, they'll suffer and maybe learn their lesson.
Maybe it's just a fleeting sentiment and will fade, I hope. I told her dd and many other young women will suffer too, we won't be fine and dandy.
I don't think I want to see the struggling LC people get a harsher blow, even if they do parrot the vile propaganda. The MC/UMC trumpsters, I feel more indifferent to, they could handle taking their medicine but even then, the suffering to come from deregulation and program cuts (especially in health care and elder care) is a bit too much karma.

People are just venting. When you see someone drawing, you will always help. You don't give an F what party they belong.

Rethink your policies.

Are people really convinced that Trump is going to be bad for the working and middle class?

I think tariffs are a terrible idea, but everything else I'm seeing from Trump is far better for than what Biden/Harris put forward. For most Americans, it would be very foolish to vote for Democrats.

Well poor americans rely heavily on the government to help them survive. Look at how much federal money the red states take vs contribute. I am ready for Trump to burn it all down.

Poor people who vote blue also need that support. Why are you so excited to watch them suffer while you count your money?

I feel for them, but I'm sick of the poor R voting against their own interests. Nothing else has worked to educate them on this. So perhaps it is time for them to reap the "rewards" of their voting. The inability to get social services they desperately need, the inability to find healthcare for anyone female in their family---the nearest OBGYN might be 250Miles away, and when you are poor, that isn't an option. The nearest hospital with L&D might be the same. So now you deliver in the ER/basic hospital bed with general nurses/doctors who last did this in med school 20+ years ago. Hope everyone comes out okay. Hope they don't have a medical issue in pregnancy that requires advanced medical care or "medical abortion", because they will likely end up dead while the doctors are forced to wait.

So yup, you get what you voted for. I've tried to help, and unfortunately the poor D will be the real losers.

And Dems assuming they know what’s best for all is exactly why they’re out of here. Take your failed policies and pitch them elsewhere.

Any one who routinely uses any of the "social services" yet votes for someone who openly wants to end them is "not voting in their interest". That's a simple fact. What's worse is that they are so uninformed that they don't even know he wants to end them. Because they believe all the lies.

Just go back and listen to all the people (anti Obama voters) who were so excited to finally have affordable healthcare in 2012+. Yet so many of them had literally no clue what they had was the result of Obamacare---first time in their lives they readily had decent healthcare at a reasonable price and they don't even understand why they now finally have access to it.

So yeah, since they think this is what's best for them, let them enjoy what they've voted for.

Trump and the Reps literally just won an election with their spite! Trump = spite.
Spite clearly works. So does playing dirty. And so I am done with my kindness, open-mindedness and compassion.

+1

Out of spite, I think Ds should hang back for a few elections at the federal level. Let the Rs turn the US into the hellhole they desire. Then we can revisit the value of government regulation and government services. Maybe they need to feel the pain first.

Moron we are already feeling the pain which is why Democrats lost so badly. Why do over 70% of Americans feel like the country is moving in the wrong direction if the Democrats were doing such a fantastic job? They have held office for the past 12 out of 16 years. A majority of people believe they are worse off today than they were in 2020. Why are so many people moving to red states? The definition of insanity is continuing to do the same thing over and over again expecting different results.

Because of the pandemic, world-wide supply chain, etc.

People would be in an even worse place if Trump had won in 2020. Ds gave us a soft landing. Just look at how the US is recovering compared to other countries.

Well people who understand economics and can read and process real news understand that. But majority of the 51% don't understand that and don't want to.

Really. All those new jobs being created in the red states via Biden’s infrastructure and chip bill will benefit Trump, but be very clear, Trump did nothing for the working class between 2017-2020. In fact, Trump refused to sign off on an infrastructure bill. What did Trump do for the working class his first term.

That is really condescending. The entire globe suffered from inflation. It was not as bad in the United States as it was in other places. That is not impossible or even that difficult to grasp.

So your problem is with Capitalism? Or with companies being forced to pay something closer to a living wage?

How is this going to work when Trump deports so many workers and the labor market tightens and drives up wage prices more?
