You are evil. I am a low income person and I voted for Kamala. Thanks for wishing death on me. Enjoy your progressive day |
I live in an area where minimum wages are $17/hr+. Yes wage growth is great. It also means a 16 oz latte is $7.58 (not $3.5 like it is in places where min wage is the federal limit). Extrapolate that to the grocery store next and restaurants. Very few employers just pay more per hour and take it fully out of their profits. |
So what should we do? Storming the Capitol? Telling the rally goers s to shoot our opponents? Shoot the press? Punch an old lady? |
We will find out soon, since the republicans have all the government branches. Just stop whining. |
Umm...the first trump "presidency" already made "bush2's time in office look great". Scary as that sounds. This one will make W look like a friggin genius. |
People are just venting. When you see someone drawing, you will always help. You don't give an F what party they belong. |
Rethink your policies. |

Are people really convinced that Trump is going to be bad for the working and middle class?
I think tariffs are a terrible idea, but everything else I'm seeing from Trump is far better for than what Biden/Harris put forward. For most Americans, it would be very foolish to vote for Democrats. |
Any one who routinely uses any of the "social services" yet votes for someone who openly wants to end them is "not voting in their interest". That's a simple fact. What's worse is that they are so uninformed that they don't even know he wants to end them. Because they believe all the lies. Just go back and listen to all the people (anti Obama voters) who were so excited to finally have affordable healthcare in 2012+. Yet so many of them had literally no clue what they had was the result of Obamacare---first time in their lives they readily had decent healthcare at a reasonable price and they don't even understand why they now finally have access to it. So yeah, since they think this is what's best for them, let them enjoy what they've voted for. |
Not anymore. |
Well people who understand economics and can read and process real news understand that. But majority of the 51% don't understand that and don't want to. |
Really. All those new jobs being created in the red states via Biden’s infrastructure and chip bill will benefit Trump, but be very clear, Trump did nothing for the working class between 2017-2020. In fact, Trump refused to sign off on an infrastructure bill. What did Trump do for the working class his first term. |
That is really condescending. The entire globe suffered from inflation. It was not as bad in the United States as it was in other places. That is not impossible or even that difficult to grasp. |
There is no federal limit on wages. |
So your problem is with Capitalism? Or with companies being forced to pay something closer to a living wage? How is this going to work when Trump deports so many workers and the labor market tightens and drives up wage prices more? |
