The one against Baldwin isn’t very convincing if, as has been described, it was very common to take the armorer’s or assistant director’s word for a gun being cold in general and on that set. I just don’t see how you get to gross negligence.

Being racist used to be normal. Using guns without proper training may be normal on set, but that doesn't make it right.

You kill someone, you're responsible.

Baldwin did not do himself any favors with his public statement that he did not feel any guilt. I guess he didn't want to incriminate himself, but it made him look like a heartless bastard with no remorse for something he did do, even if it was accidentally. At least the armorer showed the appropriate emotions, whereas Baldwin just seems to focus on himself.

I thought I read that crew were shooting cans/target practice bc they were bored. and those bullets got mixed up with the movies.

As a 30 Rock and SNL fan, I do have a soft spot for Alec. And I do think his kids need him in their life. Heavily fined, no jail

And the victim's family should be very well compensated.
