You can’t really be this dense. Parents are responding to the politicization of decisions affecting schools by far-left Democrats who are not just political operatives, but operatives holding ostensibly non-partisan offices.

Look at Karl Frisch, for example. He has no qualifications to serve on a local School Board. He has neither kids nor a college degree, but he’s planted on the School Board because he was a loyal party member and former low-level Democratic staff member on the Hill who made a good stooge.

The people that are crossing party lines were republicans in the last presidential election. Maybe some of them are going back to voting for republicans governors. But many are not. Keep dreaming.

Given the number of times people have been flat-out lied to by Democrats on the School Board your post falls flat. Not to mention, the supposedly non-partisan School Board members routinely campaign for Democratic candidates and show up at campaign events.

The left has been doing this for years.

At least this group on the right are actual parents with kids in fcps, as opposed to the childless crowd on the left like Omeish and the childless guy whose priority on the school board is protecting dog parks over helping kids, and fundraising from out of state.

The childless guy is Frisch. All he has “accomplished” on the School Board is getting one school renamed and prioritizing the preservation of a dog park over the construction of a new school. He represents one of the fastest growing parts of the county (Tysons) and has utterly failed to serve their needs. But if you call out his incompetence the local Democrats brand you a political operative and domestic terrorist because they are obsessed about retaining power and completely incapable of seeing their own blind spots.

And he’s just one example of the incompetent and hypocritical party hacks now making bad decisions that affect our kids. We need more balance in state and local government so they start to hold themselves accountable.

There are absolutely Democrats in Virginia, also Biden supporters, who voted or will vote for Youngkin. It’s our way to try to nudge the party back towards the center when other efforts have failed.
