Biden's VP?

Anonymous
I think the GOP would use Rice's on son against her. Risky pick.

It's been mentioned before, and I consider myself a part of the group that thinks VP will not be any of the "top" ladies.

Bass versus Rice now?

Bass seems less controversial than Rice.

We're just speculating. Who knows.

I also didn't see Demings on the speaker list, but I know it is being constantly updated.

True!

Yes, but I wouldn't necessarily expect Demings as a speaker either. Only in the House a few years and hasn't done much yet. The other speakers are more established. Though she could give a strong law and order/reform speech, but maybe Kamala will be speaking along those lines anyway.

+1 Demings and Rice missing from the list is NBD. But Bass missing seems HUGE.

Especially as Chair of CBC.

Bass will definitely speak, one way or the other. With the super white lineup Wed night other than Barack, my guess is the VP pick will be Rice or Bass. If Bass isn't picked, she'll be slotted in on another night for sure.

That was an awesome quote. Straight and true! Exactly what we need.

I disagree. Most Americans are sick of divisive politics and want things to be more civil and constructive. A flame thrower is a bad idea.

We have had enough with 4 years with a flame thrower. Need a polite pick.

We will get who we get and you will deal with it.''''So over the nitpicking, which I guess is to be expected as people grow in patient. At this rate people are just looking for reasons to be unhappy with whomever he chooses.

I think if Duckworth were AA, she would have gotten the nod already. She’s not the smoothest politician but has a lot of upside elsewhere. Hard to attack someone with her credentials.

I’m intrigued by Bass, she’s probably the one I’m least familiar with.

I was also intrigued by Bass but communism and Castro stuff wasn’t handled well by her.

I hope it does not tear her family apart.

It's Gretchen Whitmer.

I just can’t see Biden picking a woman of color. It’ll be Whitmer or maybe Warren.

“Wise counsel” does describe Whitmer.

I’m just getting excited. I care who it is and all, but not really. I’m voting Biden regardless.

But this is like Christmas Eve. The tension! The excitement!

I don’t count Warren out her ability to fund raise and her experience are definitely positives
