She was the first choice of all my midwestern friends.

Not after the misogynistic mistreatment of Whitmer. We wanted Harris at the topic of the ticket. This process has unleashed something really ugly. Why would he drag it out like this. For what effect? Very destructive.

Agreed, but we will get over it. Funny, talking to my sister (from the midwest) who is also black, and she mentioned that KH has a generic look where colorism may work to her favor in consideration of the unspoken/subconcious prejudices that are undertows to middle America's constitutency.

Glad she is a fighter. She will kick ass. We are gonna need it!

She’s definitely law-and order which will play to the undecided. And Our Democratic Governor in California will appoint a Democrat.

She can dish it out better than THE GOP. She will cut pence or Haley (if big rump decides to have female running mate,) to shreads.

I don't think the letter did anything but probably lose a lot of voters in the Midwest who were appalled at the racist and misogynistic treatment of Whitmer. It was unnecessary and hurts the campaign, and hurts relationships between key constituencies in the Democratic party. He should have picked Harris at the beginning instead of tearing apart the party like this. It will cost him.

People tried to give Biden space, but when it looked like he didn't know what the hell he was doing, they felt a need to intervene. It was a mistake to drag all these candidates through weeks of speculation.

Don't feel that bad for Whitmer though. She was obnoxiously ambitious at the wrong time and got burnt a little. The "racism is a public health crisis" press conference was ridiculous and shameless given the candidates she was trying to elbow past.

You have it wrong. There was zero cost in him taking his time. It was to his benefit. Everybody left feeling like their favorite got a fair shake. The haters fired off all of their objections and he got to consider them. He stayed in the news without lifting a finger.

Cop.

Biden just re-elected Trump.

Total nonsense.

Aww the rat is mad that Biden just chose a woman who can go toe-to-toe with Trump. Harris is great. As for the 'cop' comment, you poorly concealed nuts were pushing that Val Demings crap all summer. We knew what your angle was - get someone with so many holes in her background, she'd sink Biden's ship.

NOT. GOING. TO. HAPPEN.

Biden-Harris 2020!!!
