Biden's VP?

Who will be President Biden's VP?

I think he might pick Kamaka? Or Klobuchar

I think Warren would be a strong choice. Bernie supporters will be really disappointed. A proven progressive running mate would reassure many of them that there is still hope for their agenda.

Hilarious, OP. Biden has one risen-from-the-dead good night, and you are ready to start talking about "president" Biden's VP?

A few of your best democratic friends in California probably have some comments for you.

No sweetheart. It's the Biden supporters who, in the end, will be "really disappointed."

Not a previous poster, but let’s not get nasty here. Whoever the nominee is, let’s support them to beat trump. Biden is my first choice but I will wholeheartedly support Bernie Sanders with all my time, effort, and financial contributions if he wins the nomination. Beating trump is the top priority and we must be united.

Joe "The more things change, the more things stay the same" Biden. Mayor Pete kind of fits the bill.

I echo this, as a Bernie supporter who will do the same for Biden. Damage control people.

He finished 2nd in Nevada and 1st in South Carolina. He's 2nd in delegate count and he's got great momentum going into Super Tuesday. And he doesn't have all the negative baggage that Sanders carries with him. He hasn't alienated more than half of the DNC and the other candidates that could help him rally support from the party.

There is no way that Sanders can get a majority and a plurality for him does him absolutely no good . He does not have enough support to win a brokered convention.

The best pick would be Michelle, of course. Definitely none of the dems running for president. They are all pathetically awful.

If not Michelle, maybe Beto or someone that has a chance at pulling a major swing state. Why the heck would you pick someone from unquestionably democratic states like CA or MA (Harris, Warren)? No freakin way that happens.

WHAT?

If he picked any of those you mentioned, I'd go third party.

Why would you go third party? You don't like Michelle Obama or Beto, but would vote for Biden with another VP? That makes no sense.

Klobuchar would be great.

I haven’t thought about it but I like the idea of Michelle. I think it will be a smart move in many ways.
