I read somewhere that the omicron subvariant is far less severe than previous variants which is good news |
Positive COVID news - I have COVID but because I can’t taste or smell a thing I’m losing some of the weight I gained over the last 2 years.

my lady is soft pink satiny lace
also filled with love and grace breathing out her womanhood while she strolls thru life's race but my lady also has darkness howling deep within the night running beneath bright moon in a breathless, beautiful sight both sides of her I truly adore for I was born to hold her tight |
Wow this is so beautiful |
Breathtaking (quite literally, I was left breathless) |
Any good news today?
Or a poem? |

Here's something...the ENTIRE state of VA has just 159 people in the hospital for covid right now. And of those people, only 32 are in the ICU. This is despite cases increasing due to BA.2.
https://www.vhha.com/communications/virginia-hospital-covid-19-data-dashboard/ I think we are out of the woods, folks. |
hi all: any new news on vaccine for <5? Been forever since we last heard Moderna was going to submit "soon". |
We need this approval already! Enough with the red tape Write to your congressman |
my 88 year old grandmother just recovered from covid! she is healthy as a horse and we couldn't be more relieved and excited |
In 2020, I had stated that COVID had impacted my heart and people just pooh-poohed it. I am glad that VA has results of their tracking many veterans who also got COVID and it has left lasting impact on their hearts. I hope now people will get their heart checkups regularly after they get COVID. Forewarned is forearmed. |
Most of us do not know that we have underlying health conditions. It is better to not get COVID. |
I was in the ER the other day, beautiful sunny late spring day, and the ER was teaming with sick people, best guess is Covid, since the intercom system was strangely quiet, not a lot of code yellows being announced. There were people, adults, mostly middle aged and elderly lining the halls of the children’s section of the ER, when I remarked to the attending physician on how busy things appeared to be he wearily announced that last week was much worse. Docs were clearly frazzled and the standard of care was way off for FFX. Not a good time to be in need of ER services. I’d say that qualifies as good news. For a contrast I was in the ER in a Saturday last summer and the ER at FFX was really quiet, adult side, and I remarked to the ER doc that things seemed quiet and she remarked that yes the Covid surge was definitely over and things were close to back to normal |
