Short answer: yes.

The bill authorizes spending for: Transitional housing; supportive services; short- and medium-term rent subsidies; and, among other things permanent housing. Also, as being homeless almost automatically implies that you fall below a certain income level (especially if you are a minor) it automatically qualifies you for a host of other government-funded benefits, including SNAP. So, if the rumors are true, these young men committed welfare fraud and they, and whomever instructed them to do it, should be held accountable.

If these young men did commit welfare fraud, the manner in which they did it (claim homelessness in this instance) also likely means they were committing residence fraud. Not a good day to be a Hayfraud football recruit...

And the Board would have known all this when they were circulating the let’s all sign a we love her letter.

Which board members signed vs did not sign?

All signed on but R. Anderson, Dunne, McElveen, Meren, and Moon.

Surprise Anderson didn't sign

But then again, she covers South County, dome of Lake Braddock and most of West Springfield. Plus her WSHS parents are already fired up about her unequivocal support for One Fairfax rezoning and her opposition to grandfathering high school students. Anderson might not have wnough bandwidth left for going against her constituents over football, when they are all already furious at her about her role in and support of rezoning.

Sandy Anderson did sign. Ricardy Anderson (Mason) did not.

Are you saying they aren’t?

No. They aren’t. I’m saying it.

Sandy Anderson is a fool to have signed that letter, given that 3 of her main schools are SoCo, LB and WSHS

It doesn’t take all of those benefits to be fraud. Hayfield/FCPS absolutely receives federal dollars for this. The kid doesn’t necessarily need to get anything directly.

100%

Overton and his crew didn’t do their research on the likes of Asra Q. Nomani (not all that surprising). Once she got involved the smart bettors knew this was going to be a death by 1000 cuts type situation. She’s likely sitting on a mountain of evidence and just slowly going to let it drip out.

Yep. I disagree with her politics but she is a great journalist. She's like a dog with a bone.

She’s diligent and uncovers stuff that others wouldn’t look for or find. She isn’t always accurate - for example, she suggested the Herndon FB coach recently resigned over FCPS’s handling of the Hayfield situation and he completely disavowed her claim.

The Herndon coach was recruiting. I know that for a fact.

All this slandering of other programs and coaches with NO PROOF is pathetic.

Exactly - my kid went to preschool with most of those players. They've lived there their whole lives.

That wasn't my takeway from reading the supposed screen shots. Good luck proving that.

Well, you lack of reading comprehension obviously.

Reid knew and knows who did and said and her conclusion is still supporting Hayfield. School Board still supporting Reid. This will be AD was misunderstood or he’ll just be the lone rogue scapegoat. All the others part of this will promoted to here and there. This is the FCPS way.

Test case will be who from Hayfield on canter this happen again committee. Will be either Overton or Principal or both.

Tbh, I don't know she knew or even knows now. I think she's one step up from blithering idiot. It makes denial a lot easier when you don't even know what the question is, let alone the answer.

Corrected, no clue what happened:

Reid thought it was critical to be an “ally” of cheaters and wrongdoers merely because of their race. That’s what her Pacific NW progressive background hard wired her to do.

On the other hand, the only Black member of the School Board had no time for this patronizing White woman stuff and consistently supported an independent investigation of Hayfield’s program. If they’d listened to her and Dunne they wouldn’t be in such a mess now.

Anonymous wrote:Hayfield AD:“ I like to win” , “And make money”.

I’m trying to figure this out. Does it suggest a kickback if Overton comes to Hayfield?

This is going to be a great depo question someday. But, need to get it to court. Any Plaintiffs or criminal attorneys that can comment re cause of action ?

No lawyer by far but my take away from the make money comment is more success winning games, brings more people, a potential deeper run in the playoffs not a first round exit brings more money to the gate, and they are or could possibly be home games meaning much bigger crowds

Was Fritts the AD when Aziz was coach? Was Fritts promoted when Aziz let go?
