They aren’t.

Any school teaching Kendi is teaching kids to be racists. And of course there's this racist who MCPS employs just to BE a racist. https://twitter.com/marya_hay/status/1230546821346471939?s=20

You are so obsessed with that one tweet!

DP

Rightfully so. Because it demonstrates the absurdity of MCPS and their Equity Division.

I, too, base everything on this one thing this one person said this one time on Twitter...

Nah, it’s just an example that highlights the level of ridiculousness that we see from MCPS.

Surely you can find more supporting evidence of "the level of ridiculousness that we see from MCPS" to build a more cohesive argument. Any teacher beyond elementary school would expect it!

Of course we can! There are plenty. This is just one example, and the PP posts it to make people aware. It’s not ‘building a cohesive argument’. It’s simply pointing out examples of MCPS stupidity.

Meanwhile, you have nothing to say as to why the tweet above is appropriate, useful or helpful to anyone. So you choose to deflect.

It seems to be the only example. Or at least, it's the only example that anyone posts, and they post it over and over and over and over and over and over and

I'll look for more. But you have to admit that that tweet is really bad. This is someone MCPS pays to discriminate against white people. Her whole division is paid to discriminate against white people and Asians. Everyone should demand that she be fired and the division shuttered.

No, I don't have to admit it. In fact, I agree with the tweet.

+1. I agree too. And this is really nothing more than a tweet. Have you all never been to a staff meeting where you break into groups and write group members' ideas on flip charts? That's all this is. It's not policy. It's not curriculum. It's just a tweet.

If the tweet had said that blackness was a system of lazing about drinking malt liquor you'd be foaming at the mouth until the people responsible were fired. The fact that you would make excuses for this tweet makes you a hypocrite or a racist or both.

The fact that you consider those flip charts to be the equivalent of the above reveals a lot about your ignorance and/or insecurity.

So, you are a racist and a bully!

I am wondering if this is school-specific or MCPS-wide. Just looking to get more info before I approach the principal with my questions/concerns.

All children should learn this. It should be nationwide!
