Find a new club. |
It sounds like several already did. |
Oh, I’ve been around the block...Lots of shady individuals, esp. when talking about TDs, DOCs, etc. |

"FIND A NEW CLUB"
They did AND they are allowed to express their opinion (s) You dont like it? "FIND A NEW FORUM". |
Some of us are here to share valuable insight. Others have an agenda. Pretty obvious who the trolls are. |
Do you need a tissue? |
Nope. Save them for the next round of parents. I dont need them |
That ODFC team was being courted by more than just FCV. |
| ^^^^what's your point l? |
No, but unless your kid is a unquestioned top five starter you should be more aware of these practices because the next team FCV absorbs could have a player who sends your kid to the bench or worse. Just remember, there is always someone better than your kid. |
I still don't get this arguement. Every single team has starters and bench players. EVERY. SINGLE. TEAM. If every bench player left their team, there would only be 11 person rosters. Don't get the argument. |
Leaving and being pushed out are two different things. Being a starter and being pushed to the bench in favor of the new recruit is different. Just remember that FCV is always looking for a kid better than your kid. Just a fact. No argument for or against the practice because it is how teams do get better. I just love the parent arrogance at FCV who believe their kid is untouchable because they are at FCV. Well, with all the options available to players now the typical churn at FCV will be less because they aren’t the only game in town. Another reason that the arrogance is even more ridiculous now than ever before. |
Maybe we should start a "Most Arrogant Club" thread? This thread is way overcooked by now ... |

| 2004/U16 are mostly rising sophomores and need to get the attention and on the lists of college coaches. 2003/U17 are mostly rising juniors, are reaching out to college coaches right now, and if they’re going DI or competitive DIII will be verbally committed within the year, some stragglers early next year. rankings for U18 or for U15 and below just don’t matter. Being on a team that can get you in front of college coaches, whether through connections or showcasing, during sophomore and junior years is what matters for girls who want to play in college. For everyone else, play where it’s fun and makes sense for your family. |
