Funny how Penn Fusion was awarded Coaching Staff of the Year for the East Coast. https://www.soccerwire.com/news/u-s-soccer-development-academy-announces-2019-award-winners/ |
Not "funny" at all - Great Club, professional Coaches. Well deserved. FCV is basically a parent run organization. Their kids were rewarded by their BFF coach. |
Funny is that FCV did not receive this honor |
| They would win the social media award! If there was one! |
| They would win the DMV award if there was one! Better than all the other DMV teams and clubs! |
Why in the world would they receive this honor? FCV is a collection of good players - no support or help from Christian or Twitter Bobby - all outside training and conditioning. The ship has sailed now that the 2019's have graduated. The only hope is for the 04's and 05's to grow under new coaching leadership eventually. THOSE parents might want to start inviting the coaches to dinners and throwing some perks their way if they want nominated too. |
|
It's the moms at FCV that have the power. . They should get honorary degrees in Engineering the way they build and destroy things.
The dads aren't tolerated. |
Almost forgot....here is how you identify the "power moms". Upon arrival to Evergreen, visually scan the fields and locate the ladies in the black yoga pants, fitbits, and baseball caps who are power walking and gossiping while circling the fields. They typically walk in groups and stop all conversations until they pass you. Most look like former athletes. They are typically the source of all leaks.
Good group to know. |
Obviously not a member of FCV or involved in the club at all. The dads are the ones getting their daughters linked with random non - us National teams, submitted to "DA best of" groups, hooked up with reserve pro teams. All you have to do is go to a practice and see who is standing around talking to the coaches. Not the moms....... |
Uh...7 years at the club. It's the moms. Trust me. |
