I think there is one single University of Michigan booster. This person keeps repeating the same tired old comments about how great UofM and Ann Arbor are over and over in multiple forum discussions on DCUM, College Confidential, and reddit.

What's true is USC is a better school, it's also private, and it's in a far superior location. And she originally planned to attend USC. She only temp went to UMich because of that scandal and optics.

May be it’s a strategic decision for family to vibe with public’s anti-Ivy sentiments to gain street credibility for future projects.
