Michigan is a great school
Ann Arbor is a great town Michigan blew it with the sexual abuse athlete doctor case, just as pretty much every organization blows handling sexual abuse USC is a good school California has great weather Maybe the Obamas all want to have an extended LA presence as a family together All of these things can be true you know |
The topic is relevant again since she transferred out. And in light of that, it's a real laugh riot to revisit 25 pages of the comments from deluded UofM boosters. The weather is a non-factor, Ann Arbor is the most amazing college town in the nation, UofM has it all, total package. You're a troll if you talk about the harsh weather and depressing geography. Yeah, right. |
What's true is USC is a better school, it's also private, and it's in a far superior location. And she originally planned to attend USC. She only temp went to UMich because of that scandal and optics. |
Troll |
That was Michigan STATE, not Michigan. Also, expect better from institutions. |
What scandal at Michigan? |
OH the scandal at USC, duh. Sorry. |

She left that dud of a school. Not a troll to point it out. Interesting also that she transferred to another state university system and not an elite private. So it wasn't her being snobbish, UM just wasn't suitable. |
You’re a moron. USC is private. |
Wait - isn't that the school that idiot Lori Loughlin tried to bribe her daughters into? |
She is a child of a wealthy, Ivy educated, US president, she can attend community college and still any internship or job offer she fancies so probably parents let her decide based on her preference or where her friends or boyfriend are going. Neither of the parents had great undergrad experiences per their books so likely they didn’t want to push her to go there if she didn’t want to. May be it’s a strategic decision for family to vibe with public’s anti-Ivy sentiments to gain street credibility for future projects. It could be any reason, we can just speculate, no way to know and to be fair, no reason to know as it’s a private matter. |
Chicago has U of Chicago, Northwestern, UI etc. Both Bush Senior and Jr moved back home to Texas after presidency, Obamas could’ve moved too if they wanted to. |
