Do you know the age of the child and if they chose not to vaccinate them vs. if the child was too young to be vaccinated?

Guys, read the article in the OP. The child who died was school aged. And the strain was determined not to be from shedding from a vaccinated person.

Texas themselves reported the death was “from measles”. Measles pneumonia is a thing, as is measles encephalitis. It’s amazing how people are trying to discount this virus as if it doesn’t have extraordinary consequences that kill children. It kills babies, it kills kids with cancer, and it kills unvaccinated children who were previously healthy.

The child was likely given IVIG - intravenous immunoglobulins to try to curtail severe measles infection. It’s effective but should be given within 6 days of exposure. All notes would be protected by HIPAA, but you should expect to see a case report in a journal in the next 6-12 months, and it would be included in MMWR (morbidity and mortality weekly report) published by the CDC, except that it was muzzled by Trump and has been prevented from being published regularly for the first time since 1930.

People exposed to measles who cannot readily show that they have adequate presumptive evidence of immunity against measles should be offered post-exposure prophylaxis (PEP). Public health officials can help identify eligible persons, assess any contraindications, and weigh benefits.

There are two types of PEP for measles. To potentially provide protection or modify the clinical course of disease among susceptible persons, administer one of these:

MMR vaccine, if administered within 72 hours of initial measles exposure.
Immunoglobulin (IG), if administered within 6 days of exposure. The recommended dose for intramuscular immunoglobulin (IMIG) is 0.5mL/kg, regardless of the contact’s immune status.
Don't administer MMR vaccine and IG simultaneously. This practice invalidates the vaccine.

But this entire theory is just being perpetuated by random accounts, there is literally NO VERIFIED report of the kid having RSV, etc. Not a one, just random bot accounts saying it and others picking it up and repeating it so it becomes a viral claim.

I was born a few years before MMR was available and I had both types of measles as did every kid in the neighborhood and none of us were hospitalized or died.
Modern medicine is light years above 1970 so why are kids dying from it in 2025?
