For context regarding measles in the US prior to this child's death:
"In 2000, measles was declared eliminated in the U.S. But as vaccination rates have dropped, cases have reappeared. The United States' last death, in 2015, was of a woman in Washington state. Before then, there hadn't been a death since 2003, the CDC said." |

That is a significant danger since young young children cannot get the vaccination. The young ones are dependent on herd immunity and there is no more respect for herd immunity in this country. |

The rec is you were born before '57 and '68, you should get the booster. There are a number of docs on social media reccing this. |
