Fairfax Murder

That he has not been exonerated nor charged yet suggests to me it was planned not spur of the moment and that there was a degree of cleaning and framing of the narrative, perhaps.

Joe seemed very open about his "social life" and told people where he would be, perhaps who he would be with. Lots more to come out. It seems less likely that he would kill based on descriptions of people who have known him locally for many years and no real motive. DH killing DW, now that is common. If having an affair, would be even more common. Sad but true.

Case also has nothing to do with FB. Fetlife, maybe.

Has no real motive? How the hell would you know if he has any motives Sherlock? You know the guy personally? Ever talk to him? Jesus you all are so dumb

Hard to believe that this person would meet such a violent end so young.

It was supposed to say something is not adding up with the original story or it could have been proved true by now. (Who was there when, if they knew each other before).

They need to build a case before arrest, obviously. This isn't a tv show. Speedy trial rights kick in, so even if they have enough for an arrest, they need to make sure they can get through to conviction.

It's been 2.5 weeks. I don't find that to be a particularly long time for a double homicide. Whatever the conclusion of the investigation turns out to be the police are going to be expected to thoroughly explain the events of that morning in detail, to include the reason/motive for Ryan being at the house. They towed car. They had a cyber forensics team at the scene. There's a lot to go through.

On a page re: online condolences for Christine there are very few addressed to or that mention Brendan. Wonder if he worked a lot and was not around that much? A lot are from earlier in life, like college, sorority, etc. Many from patients. She touched many.

From posters who claimed to be neighbors above, did they socialize much as a family?

It is heartbreaking to think of that little girl, so tiny, losing her mom, however it happened.

Name calling is a sign of a childish mind.

You are posting on this thread too.

What is your incisive take on what happened?

Brendan and Christine both loved their family and each were very involved with day to day life. They have a large circle of friends. This tragedy is devastating to the family and their top priority is their little girl.

This does seem likely.

Was this au pair fairly new or had she been with them a while?

Why? She’s a woman living in a toxic environment thanks to patriarchy. Women of all stripes have one thing in common: they are likely to be victimized by a man or men at one or more times in their lives from childhood into their elder years. When female humans are murdered, it is nearly always by someone who once claimed to love them. Violence against women is the most normal, mundane aspect of how we have arranged human society and the violent end of women is so common it shouldn’t be surprising any of us anymore.
