"The disappointment I feel today is beyond words. I'm heartbroken that the mountain of evidence still was not enough to stand up to the disproportionate power, influence, and sway of my ex-husband," Heard said.

That's her story and she's sticking to it! It was all because of Depp's sway, despite a "mountain of evidence." SMH.

She’s right and I’m heartbroken for her. Depp was abusive and she had every right to write her op Ed and share her experience with an abuser. That she is imperfect as a victim doesn’t negate his abuse. It also doesn’t mean she defamed him. Sad day for women but this is the direction our country is headed in so not a total surprise. Soon you’ll be able to beat and terrify women with impunity.

+1 sad day for women

Oh please.

This is a case where a woman who is desperate for fame saw the value of leveraging the me too movement for her own narcissistic goals. She too advantage of the “believe all women” stance to ruin a man for her own gain.

I have experienced SA myself and am disgusted by her.

She had proof. More than most. Regardless if you believe her, you do understand how this verdict will negatively impact victims? As a supposed survivor of SA, I’d think you’d have some empathy for them, but sounds like you want them to shut up and stay silent.

Most survivors aren’t photoshopping photos to try to make it look like she had injuries. Most aren’t claiming to have a broken nose and going on a TV show with no sign of injury. Putting herself out as a spokesperson for abused women offends me so, so much.

DP. I’ve had a broken nose that left me with nothing but the slightest hint of shadows under my eyes that were easily covered with concealer.

The next day? lol

I can barely get makeup to fully cover my acne scars. I’d really like to know what kind of makeup covers bruises from being punched in the face multiple times…. In HD no less.

According to Amber‘s lawyer, the kind that is released and produced after you allegedly use it

Oh FFS - she didn't say that specific makeup palette brand, she said A MAKEUP PALETTE and showed that one as an example. You psycho K---s will believe anything the internet tells you.

It's you who believes any cheap excuse you hear from your twisted sister.
"A make up palette" wasn't really mainstream at the time and if she was using the one that existed at the time, she would know the brand.

DP. I am not particularly make-up savvy, but have been using palettes since before my second child was born in 2011. I’m not sure why you think they would be such a foreign concept to an actress.

Yes, the next day. I was really grateful for the lack of bruising because it happening when my then-boyfriend accidentally elbowed me in the nose (a legit accident), and might after it happened I was afraid it would leave me terribly bruised and people would think my boyfriend was abusing me. I later had to have surgery to fix the deviated septum, but no noticeable bruising when it happened.

But since that doesn’t fit your preferred narrative, I’m sure you will accuse me of lying.

Getting elbowed accidentally and the ensuing injury is completely different from being punched in the face multiple times so hard that she thought he had broken her nose (according to her testimony).

I'm a PP who experienced physical (and other abuse growing up). IME and that of other victims in my family, the bruising from blows to the face may not appear right away but the swelling sure did. I had surgery in my early 40s to repair the damage. It wasn't anywhere near as bad as the blows I took in my youth and I still had a lot of swelling. The physical abuse Amber described just isn't believable.

Your experience doesn’t match my experience so I think you’re lying about being abused. You were probably the abuser.

It's the same middle aged loser women that are on this board.

‘Sup, y’all, shout out to my homies!

And I mean all middle aged loser women on the board, no matter what side of this trial you’re on!

Are you including yourself?

Talk to any divorce lawyer and they will tell you that many toxic relationships involve toxic people who thrive on toxic behavior. Simply put: both parties do bad things. They will also tell you that sometimes the woman is worse precisely because she provokes violence to build a case. I am convinced this is what happened. Amber had an exit strategy in mind, and it involved pushing Depp and generating evidence. She wanted a payout and sympathy precisely to damage his reputation while preserving hers. It worked for a while, but this jury and the general public realize she was on a mission and the DV angle was largely fabricated as her bulletproof protection.

Sadly, no. She made a specific post about it being important to wear the same dress the last time she wore it 2 years ago and now she’s wearing it again. Clearly she thought she would win. She’s just so obviously crazy.

Are you talking about color correction kits? Which ones have you been using since before 2011?

Well this is what he thinks of them. “Depp would insult his fans, he called them — I remember, he called them remoras, which is a type of suckerfish that attaches itself to the hull of a ship and puts a hole in it and then sinks it," Wright said.

I have zero recollection of the specific brands of make up I was using more than a decade ago.
