Are they intentionally trying to block you and not moving when you ask them? |
I wasn’t there, but the visibility through most windshields is not great especially in the winter with road salt and grime. What was he supposed to be watching? Her turning the wheel? The tires themselves? The wife exiting the vehicle , yelling and acting unpredictably? All simultaneously? Yeah, right. A horrible and volatile situation. I hope that there will be scene reconstructions done to clarify the situation. Until then, I can’t be judge and jury (and neither should all the hysterical Tik tokkers and redditors.) |
Watch the video embedded in this story. You can start at 4:40 if you don’t care about the lead up. https://www.police1.com/officer-shootings/video-ind-officers-return-fire-through-cruiser-windshield-during-pursuit-shootout |
I’ve seen the videos. I’m asking you about your thoughts on killing the driver of a car, making it now uncontrollable while there were people on the road. My thoughts are that the now driverless car is now more dangerous that it was when Good was alive. Your thoughts? |
The video from his body cam shows exactly what he saw and it was all of the above...her hands, the wheel turning away, and so on. When there is so much video footage, you don't really need scene reconstruction because everyone can see exactly what happened. |
It's on the video he moronically released. You can see her turning the steering wheel clear as day. The same way you see below turning the steering wheel in the grocery store parking lot. Aside, he saw clear enough to get off two accurate headshots into a moving vehicle, yeah? |
Have you been in a coma or in another galaxy? |
The video can only show so much. Other important factors are the speed the car was moving and how fast she was accelerating. Sounds like she floored the accelerator and that is why more analysis needs to be done. The Honda pilot has an Event Data Recorder Unless she had the top trim line. |
She was pulling out of a parking spot. I mean he was able to unholster his weapon, aim, and get off accurate head shots. |
| The rest of the world knows exactly what happened. A U.S. federal agent murdered an unarmed U.S. citizen. No propaganda or spin from the rest of the world. |
Umm, being able to discern if a car is coming towards you or not, especially if you are in law-enforcement, is not an extraordinary effort or something that requires critical thinking skills. Also, the visibility remark is not at all true. As someone who has lived in the Great Lakes region, it's very common to stock up on windshield washer fluid and get your car washed every 2-3 weeks. Also, we've seen the pictures of the Honda Pilot, the windshield is pretty clean. So, no, beloved, you certainly were not there, and maybe you should follow your own advice and not rush to make any judgements. |
Drawing from a holster and opening fire takes less than two seconds for a trained LEO on high alert for threats. Being slow on the draw can mean the difference between living or not when you're a LEO, and training reflects that. |
When specifically does it sound like that? |
Because the rest of the world was present, had unobstructed vision, and knows whether the Agent reasonably perceived a threat of serious harm or death to himself or to others given the totality of the circumstances? Doubtful. |
Your point? |
