Are you seriously going to pretend that there’s been a concerted gleeful push to tar as “haters” ANY criticism here, launched by old who’re racists against a poor innocent couple? Because that’s what I’ve seen, and it’s pretty tiresome.

Which PP? There is a quote button to help with that!

What does it even matter at this point? Christ.

New update regarding the case Meghan Markle just won a second time. Apparently it doesn't just involve a significant payout. According to British law, the Daily Mail will be prevented in the future from impinging on any aspect of Meghan Markle's privacy rights in the future. No wonder they're involving the U.K. government - she's their cash cow. Without stories on Meghan's avocados fueling global terror, what do they have?

Having lost the case the Mail On Sunday will have to do four things:

1) publish a front-page correction & apology
2) Pay a percentage of profits as damages
3) Destroy any copies of the letter in their possession
4) Be subject to an injunction from infringing Meghan’s copyright & privacy rights in the future

No link to Harry’s latest pontification on mental health? Apparently he suggested people just quit their jobs to improve their mental health. So much tone deaf privilege!

Twitter users are calling him out.

This is emblematic of why some of us are irritated by him. He’s a spoiled guy who thinks he’s equipped to dole out wisdom, but he’s way out of his swim lane. Very few people have true wisdom to impart.

Not even remotely close to what he said. This is the direct quote:

"I’ve actually discovered recently, courtesy of a chat with [BetterUp science board member] Adam Grant, that a lot of the job resignations you mention aren’t all bad. In fact, it is a sign that with self-awareness comes the need for change. Many people around the world have been stuck in jobs that didn’t bring them joy, and now they’re putting their mental health and happiness first. This is something to be celebrated."

Thanks for clarification. If ‘irritated’ PP above, and other posters like PP, would actually research instead of relying on Twitter tidbits to get their news, they may not continually be duped by tabloid spin and gossip. I think they enjoy spewing hate though, so this will likely never change.

DP. It's basically correct; Just Harry thinks it's good that people quit jobs that don't spark joy.

Thanks for your approval, Your Highness. We appreciate it.

It's either correct or it's not correct. In this case, it's not correct. He's also relaying what someone else told him.

How many millions of people worldwide would love to prioritize their happiness and mental health by quitting their job, but can’t because they need to, you know, pay their rent and feed their kids?

People all over the twitterverse see right through this privileged response: quit your job if it doesn't feel good.

Most people cannot afford to do that. Most people need to work. And the guy living in a Montecito mansion still living off his Daddy and essentially riding the coattails of his more likeable and increasingly more newsworthy spouse (who also doesn't hold a real job) doesn't seem like the right mouthpiece for these talking points precisely since everyone reacts this way due to his privilege.

Harry is incapable of ever understanding that.

I wish he would go to college, grad school, and then get a PhD in *something* before holding himself up as an expert.

As is, he can only hold himself out as an expert on the BRF and royalty in general. He can also weigh in on veteran issues in the UK (he's not equipped to weigh in on domestic veterans issues since his experience wasn't the same). And, he can continue his charitable work of showing up at events and saying a few words to raise money.

Being in therapy doesn't make you an expert on mental health...quite the contrary.

The vast majority of people that have quit their jobs to protect their mental health are not celebrating that difficult decision. He’s such a tool.

So easily duped and so easily triggered.

Tbh, I think the Great Resignation is great. We live in one of the most affluent countries on the planet, people should take care of themselves and find good jobs, not just put up with bad ones. But we don't really need a Prince to be making comments about any of this.

Everyday you all find something to get upset about. If whatever Harry or Meghan do is so triggering put them on mute...prioritize your mental health!
