Going back to the Sussex Christmas card - I find it so tacky when people make donations on my behalf to things.

But...that does not convey the same thing. They wanted to tell people who donated to Archewell how their money had, in turn, been donated by the Sussexes to these organizations, while simultaneously encouraging more donations to those organizations before the end of the year.

Posts about those two are popping up all over the place in completely unrelated threads. Once I am satisfied that the crazies have found a new home, I will probably lift the moratorium and unlock this thread.
