Also, Harry is a prince. You can't exactly take it away in the sense that you can't exactly take someone's surname or parentage away. It could happen, of course, but the monarchy and entire apparatus around that would have to be dismantled.

Actually, all it would take is parliament, they could remove his status based on a number of his recent behaviors and the rest of the monarchy remain as is. Like it or not Harry and Meghan are as relevant to the existence of the monarchy as Edward was when he was the same age. It's Liz, Charles, William and George now that are relevant. A spoiled prince who hasn't truly accomplished anything in his life beyond media hype and his wife are not relevant.

Some
of Meghan's fans will literally excuse and defend anything she says.

That is incredibly hurtful for a card that is disseminated to the world. As a mom of one who probably can't have a second, thank you for making me feel worse than I already do.

I have two kids and totally agree it's so tone deaf. "Completes our family" is fine but "makes us a family" -- just yuck. Don't forget she also said on Ellen that one kid is a hobby and two is parenting.

For ppl saying this PP is overreacting, she isn't saying she's triggered by every card with two kids. It's this weird message about what constitutes a family. And all the worse bc they put on this very "aware" and empathetic front.

She actually said this? She really is just insufferable!

No, someone had told her that. It's not a direct quote.

She repeated the statement and agreed with it on Ellen.

She repeated what was said to her but don’t recall her offering an opinion.

Exactly. I don't recall her "agreeing" with that piece of advice. If anything, she shared it with sort of with a head-shake?

Why the hell would she even repeat that? At 40 years old does she not have more common sense than that? She should at least have enough media training not to say such nonsense. And then to double down on it with the card. I'd expect more from someone who had a traumatic miscarriage.

Well, how old are you? Why don't you have enough common sense to stop spouting your nonsense.

NP dumb response. I’m generally a defender of Meghan and willing to give her the benefit of the doubt, but even I agree it was a dumb and thoughtless thing to say! I have two kids so I’m not taking it personally, but like her, I had a miscarriage in between them that caused me to wonder if the second would happen. She should have enough EQ to realize her statement is offensive!

She should, they both should, but they both repeatedly make statements that are incredibly lacking for people of their ages. I understand Harry due to him living the majority of his life in a bubble, Meghan doesn't have that excuse. There's really no defending the statement, even if you try the spin of them talking about their family it's still offensive to Archie.

Same with this marriage. We're ready for the next phase; this one is dragging.

Divorce? I don't think they will be divorcing anytime soon. If you mean the bullying trial and how they handle the scrutiny from that, I'm curious about that too

Proof of what?

Proof that those charities actually get any money. There is actually some evidence that they charity work is a scheme for them to make money, ie I give you 5% we bank (5%

Just admit that you hate these people; nothing else could explain your ridiculousness.

He is a born prince, no act of parliament can undo it. What parliament maybe able to do is reclaim his Duke title. The claim of irrelevance sure rings hollow.

They need to post the charitable acts because being charitable is their brand that makes them money.

With all that money their lives likely haven’t changed that much. It makes a big difference when you can call on help 24/7.

Parliament could take away his Dukedom, but he will always be a prince and will always be royalty.

I didn't know only royal people could release Christmas cards. Guess I must tell all the families whose Christmas cards are stuck on my fridge that they're just silly, wannabe Royals (and probably narcissistic/home-wreckers/conniving/the devil incarnate to boot!)

Every day people do not release the Christmas card for worldwide consumption that is something clebs and royals do, you know this. Playing dumb is beneath you.

?? People post Christmas cards/pictures on social media all the time. Do you live under a rock?

For their friends and family to see, not public cards the way celebs and royals do, . You know this. You understand this, and you are deliberately playing dumb It's not cute. Also, they are no longer working royals, or senior royals, they live in the US, no need for a public card.

You yourself are saying royals and celebs and, guess what, they are celebs. Why is this so hard for you to understand? The fact that you are this dumb is embarrassing for you.

DP.

Yes, they are celebs.

And we should not put celebs on pedestals. They aren’t experts, and they haven’t done anything to justify deference.

They are just capitalists trying to make a buck. They are not public servants. Just celebs with good PR and a huge following…like the Kardashians.

We're talking about a Christmas card. It's not a big deal. And no one is being "deferent" to them. That would be the royals, who truly are good-for-nothings, and a huge stain on any functioning, modern, egalitarian, democratic society.

You think Smegs left, initially to another Commonwealth nation with paid for security, because they object to the overall drain on taxpayers? Okay!
