i hope this is true. but seriously, how many times can she squeeze in "Duchess of Sussex" in one press release?

LOL! She hangs in to that title like a limpet.

I hope she hangs onto it for a long time. It helps to bring on millions of dollars to charities. Good for them and great for the people they have helped.

It will be fun to see their hypocrisy continue.

A riveting storyline

An impressive list of people working on the series though. Good for them.

Harvest Home LA just got multiple pallets of diapers thanks to Meghan & Harry's connection to Proctor and Gamble. Harvest focuses only on housing pregnant women and their children who have nowhere else to go. These are things the community needs with record inflation and unemployment.

I don’t understand why Proctor and Gamble don’t just give directly to Harvest Home? Why label it as Archewell when it’s really from Proctor and Gamble?

It’s the publicity. If Proctor and Gamble gave diapers to a random homeless shelter nobody would care. Because they are allied with Archewell, and the media follows everything Meghan and Harry do, it’s getting media coverage everywhere which gets tons of publicity for p&g and the shelter. It is the definition of using their fame for good. Whether or not the Sussexes “deserve” to be famous, they are, and they are using that fame to make an impact.

+1. This is why (to me) all the kvetching about them wanting to be famous rings hollow. They already are! And they could certainly find ways to just lead rich people lives if they wanted. But that would be an incredible waste of influence. They have incredible notoriety and to NOT use it to do things like this would be like a moral failing.

clarification - tax avoidance on the part of the Sussexes. PG gets a tax break and the Sussexes get tax avoidance through foundation.

Noblesse oblige?

No, acting like a prince and duchess in California isn't required of them. They left their job. They quit. They may have a hard time remembering that but we remember.

Hello new poster. Sounds like you're unfamiliar with those 4 different threads, where 90% of the posts were off-topic posts attacking others. This thread is on topic. No attack posts.

How?
Queen and all of the extended royal family is exempted from paying taxes according to British law.
If you want to dodge taxes, then the Trump and Hillary way is to use Delaware, blind trusts and everything else you can think of. Just ask Romney

DP. The Duchess of Sussex is an American citizen and owes taxes to the US. And in a few years, Just Harry will too.
