Lacrosse family???? I wouldn't call the behavior last weekend, good old family values. Hilarious. The lacrosse community is a family, except for those who don't want to be part of it, they want to destroy the rest. That club has been out to get wins at all costs to take out other clubs in its way from the beginning. Continue your sad martyr comments

Enough with the gaslighting by YJMA.

The women and girls lacrosse community demands that anyone starting a girls lacrosse club teach the kids to respect the sport, to play by the rules and regulations of the game, and to ensure they do not play in a dangerous way. We also demand that anyone owning, administering or coaching a girls lacrosse club require all coaches to behave with dignity, model good sportsmanship for the players, and treat officials with respect.

By all accounts, YJMA meets none of these and should be avoided by all parents, players and officials.

"By all accounts"

This entire thread is nothing but evidence that there is at least one person with some obsession's over YJ and or their director. That's about it.

Actually, the attempt to deflect it to one crazy person, instead of everyone who has had interactions with this club, is the problem.

Convince the others that the complaints are from 1 person is definitely the yjma strategy. It is actually from the Lacrosse family refrenced earlier.

I assume all the YJMA bashing is coming from some bored 12 year old girl who probably didn't make the team. No adult can be this stupid and petty.

Nope, wrong again. Anyone can play for YJMA. There are no cuts and all they want is money. For those in the back, YJMA can't even field full teams at each age group.

People change clubs all the time, it is normal. What is not normal is your continued aggressive personal attacks. I would say it is similar to the unsportsmanlike conduct you have been chastising from last weekend. Ironic aint it!

For some reason, you think you have a wealth of knowledge and it is your duty to educate other families. I think everyone else is very capable of making up their own minds. Why don’t you send a positive note for a change.

No body likes a whiner!!!

I don't know much about the YJMA program but figure ASU is a great program for this girl, obviously. Let's model women supporting women--congratulations to her! I'm guessing the people trashing ASU or Michigan, etc. have daughters starting at BC?, UNC?, top 10 programs?...doubtful because those parents or girls wouldn't waste their time being so hateful or jealous.

Its actually not about trashing ASU. Congratulations are deserved to any girl playing at the next level. The poat was geared toward the a$$hat who said "STFU we just got another commit"

Also, in reality with YJMA being such a new club their current commits were deveopled elsewhere.

But Congratulations are DEFINITELY warranted to that hard working young lady, just not the person tsking credit for it

I am a YJ parent and this site was just discovered by me, thanks to my YJ daughter. How awful!

There are real problems in this world, club lacrosse parents fighting is laughable.

I too am a YJ parent, and I’m very disturbed to be reading all of these comments. No need to be attacking young women and their choices. Not acceptable.

Those of you who are YJ parents should be calling your club owner/director to ask what s/he are doing about the appalling display at the St James Winter 8 last weekend. As a Capital parent whose DD has played club lax for over a decade, I was shocked by both the dangerous and aggressive play by the YK team and the horrific behavior of the coach.

Your time would be better served looking for answers within the program rather than posting on an anonymous forum.

I have 2 daughters with YJ and we are thrilled. We live in America and have choices (for now). I am happy that you are so passionate about your club team choice, good for you and your daughter. We too are just as passionate about our choice to be with Yellow Jackets. However, the difference is, we choose to focus our time and energy differently. I wish everyone a successful Spring season.

For all the ripping on YJMA on here (often deserved), if they just placed another commit to a PAC-12 school like Arizona State (and not App State), you gotta admit that they are probably on par with Pride in committing girls (granted that's a low bar) and that is the name of the game for some in HS travel lax.

Yet here you are Mr/Mrs anonymous reading and posting! Typical YJ minion hypocrite.

Uhhhh I’m not passionate about my kid’s lacrosse club (Capital). It’s a youth athletic team. My daughter’s sport. Happy she likes her coach and teammates. Want her to be happy. But passionate about a youth club team? Ummmm, no.

I do care that she play for a club with a positive reputation, a record of good sportsmanship and coaches who require the girls to play the game by the rules. That matters.

I don’t like clubs/coaches/parents that condone dirty play and bad sportsmanship. It taints the sport and the lax scene in the area where you live.
