The New York Times on Monday added a correction to a report accusing Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh of sexual misconduct.

The correction notes that the woman allegedly involved in the incident with Kavanaugh during law school does not recall it.

The Times in the story published Saturday reported a former classmate of Kavanaugh's named Max Stier said he witnessed the now-judge expose himself and force another female classmate to touch his penis at a dorm party. The Times said it corroborated the story with two other officials who had heard the same report from the former classmate, Stier.

However, the woman involved in the alleged incident did not speak to the Times and, according to the correction, her friends say she does not recall that it happened.

So the dems here are going to ignore this? Probably. Such liars.

They are running from this thread to the Beto thread. Remember those cartoons where the group runs to one end of the ship, it tips, then they run to the other and that tips? That’s Dems with talking points.

So here's the thing: I would bet that most people who are opposed to Kavanaugh would still want him impeached whether or not this article was ever published.

He should have never been confirmed. This article just reminded us of the atrocity that was his confirmation. You see we've been distracted by a million other things since then thanks to your game show host "president."

I won't apologize. He should be impeached and should have never been nominated let alone confirmed.

Exactly. This isn't anything new.

Kav is one of the most politically despised people in the history of America and haters will stop at nothing to destroy him. As such, we can expect random unverifiable allegations of the most heinous nature from time to time. It does not reflect well on anyone.

Agreed!! Liberals just don't want him there. This is nonsense being drudged up from high school & college! Many others have done FAR worse.

For me, it wasn't really the HS & college behavior as much as how he handled it. And how little was done to investigate it.

That, with other concerns, really makes him an unsuitable for a lifetime appointment as a SCOTUS justice.

You know, Mollie Hemmingway pointed out this significant omission in the NYTimes story in her tweet early yesterday.
She had been given an advance copy of the upcoming book by the NYTimes reporters to review. That is how she knew about the omission.

But, some posters here questioned Hemmingway's credibility and journalistic integrity.
Glad to know she was vindicated.

Ramirez doesn’t even remember the incident? More farce from the democrat media complex. Kav is my hero. Stood up to the pitchforks and torches and STILL brought on an all female staff.
The guys a hero and mentor.

Vive le Kav!!!

I think based on what happened to Dr. Ford receiving death threats and having to move her family several times that these women are afraid to say they remember anything happening. They don’t want to receive death threats like Dr. Ford has.

Sure. That's it. That has to be it. Can't be that these stories simply are a bunch of bunk.

What you think isn’t fact. The story has been corrected. You are all liars.

And aren’t you happy that he is on a court that upholds laws giving you the right to your opinion

Her book on the confirmation process is a must read.

Amazing. Pretty much everything in your post is false.
The claims were investigated. Quite thoroughly. And, found to have no credibility.
And, his HS and college behavior? What exactly about his HS and college behavior? That he liked beer? That he kept a detailed calendar of his activities?

Given that Blasey Ford likely made up her story and is a pathological liar it's hard to have sympathy for her.

Agreed. It was excellent. And, concerning at the same time. I feel sorry for the next SCOTUS nominated by a Republican. Hope that person has very thick skin and an extremely supportive family and cadre of friends.

The second witness says the woman (victim) may have been too inebriated at the time to recall the incident. This is precisely the type of thing trained investigators look at, using all available witnesses. So, again, the question is, who directed the FBI to stand down?

It really isn't an "omission" as Mollie would suggest, but rather an incomplete investigation.

There is zero indication that these confirmation hearings were conducted with any integrity. Did Bart O'Beer sexually assault multiple women? MAYBE! A real investigation - as we deserved- would have been a key part of assuring Americans, especially women, that we should trust he did not; or if he did shove his penis into multiple women's bodies while they were all drunk, that he'd taken steps to reduce the chances he would continue that behavior now that he is on the highest court in the land.

The Republicans have degraded and undermined every institution we have in this country.
