Yeah, that’s egregious enough that it deserves its own thread. That was disgusting. |
I think PP meant that Bretty has never faced a consequence in his life, that he has never once stopped to consider any of his victims (and in Blasey Ford’s case, I don’t even think the mean drunk knew what he had done), and has just moved on in the way that rapists do. I have to wonder just how many victims he has. Did he quit with college? Did he progress to completed rapes? |
Ok, let me get this straight.... 1) BK exposed himself at a party. 2) Other students "pushed" BK's genitals into the hand of a female student, apparently without her consent So, the other students somehow managed to "push" his genitals into the open (I'm assuming) hand of a girl without her consent? She was standing there, right next to BK, with her hand open in just the right spot so that others could "push" his junk into her hand? Then, he told the FBI but did not tell any of the Dem senators who were like heat seeking missiles, looking for anything to pin on him? |
| I saw that deleted tweet earlier. The new tweet is also good. But that one pulled no punches. |

I have zero respect for BK after his shady financial dealings, and his cringe-worthy, red-faced outburst at his own hearing. He wasn't and will never be Supreme Court Justice material. I don't trust him. BUT. The article says he was pushed by friends? Then how is that his fault? Or was his fault taking his pants down? If so, come on. It's vulgar, but what do you expect at a frat party? Those things reek. I think Ms. Ford had a case of sexual assault all right, but it could not be confirmed by credible witnesses, which is unfortunate. This new thing is really reaching. I understand a picture has emerged of his unthinking, impulsive and sexually opportunistic college days, but... there isn't very much there, to be honest. |
Amazing, isn't it? And, please, note: the classmate who observed this is well-wired in DC. He is far from clueless. And, yet he couldn't figure out how to come forward to stop the approval? |
Who is like a heat seeking missile? |

Also, from NYT on 9/23/18: The Times had interviewed several dozen people over the past week in an attempt to corroborate her story, and could find no one with firsthand knowledge. Ms. Ramirez herself contacted former Yale classmates asking if they recalled the incident and told some of them that she could not be certain Mr. Kavanaugh was the one who exposed himself. Of note, Max Stier is a former Clinton defense attorney. |
He brings diversity to the Supreme Court. I'm not sure it's needed, but he's bringing it. And also shame to Collins. More shame. |
As was already known, this just shows that the FBI didn't investigate anything, as they were supposed to have done, to placate Flake. |
|
Despicable. Just as we suspected; the fossilized Republican senators deliberately squashed any negative testimony during their abbreviated pretend investigation. Aren’t there any patriots in the Government who are willing to stand up to this? How many more sociopathic misogynists are we expected to tolerate?
|
PP you replied to. With the testimony provided, I'm not sure I would want my dollars to go to an FBI investigation over such a minor event. Rape? Most definitely. This? No. I must be missing something, but I don't get the outrage at all. |

And, this person couldn't manage to get to the right people? Really? And the Times reported this without any comment from him? |
The same article noted that the Ramirez allegation was also not investigated. Minor event? A lifetime appointment to the most respected position in the country isn't minor. |
Unbelievable. You’re basically saying that the victim ‘asked for it’. If that was your daughter, I suspect that your perspective might be a bit different. What is wrong with you people? |
