That was rumor from unnamed sources. We have learned that this kind of information is very often not true. |
The Barr summary stated Trump was NOT EXONERATED. I know that’s a big word for low-info folks. Barr’s summary sat on the fence so that both sides can be further divided. |
Of Obama AND of Hillary. Fair is fair. |
Hey crazy lady, he and his campaign were EXONERATED of collusion, conspiracy and coordination. More clear cannot be. |
No sorry, Barr stayed Trump was not exonerated. |
You’re quoting Trump not Barr. Big difference. |
This was ONLY in regard to obstruction because the SC did not make a decision on that. He was exonerated on collusion, conspiracy and coordination as pp said. Please... read the report. Do not take what the pundits on CNN or MSNBC tell you. They will mislead you every time. "the Special Counsel did not find that the Trump campaign, or anyone associated with it, conspired or coordinated with the Russian government in these efforts, despite multiple offers from Russian-affiliated individuals to assist the Trump campaign." On Obstruction: "After making a “thorough factual investigation” into these matters, the Special Counsel considered whether to evaluate the conduct under Department standards governing prosecution and declination decisions but ultimately determined not to make a traditional prosecutorial judgment. The Special Counsel therefore did not draw a conclusion - one way or the other - as to whether the examined conduct constituted obstruction. Instead, for each of the relevant actions investigated, the report sets out evidence on both sides of the question and leaves unresolved what the Special Counsel views as “difficult issues” of law and fact concerning whether the President’s actions and intent could be viewed as obstruction. The Special Counsel states that “while this report does not conclude that the President committed a crime, it also does not exonerate him.” https://www.apnews.com/07eb3adcff3645db8dd1ff2999ca37ee |
You're crazy. I'm quoting Barr and NYT reporting on Barr memo. |
+1. It is interesting that mention of "multiple offers..." |
+1 - Thank you. It is up to Congress (the House) to fully establish and determine the obstruction piece. Barr/Rosenstein/Mueller purposely left this door open. Trump and the campaign did not conspire they concluded, true, but they certainly welcomed the help of Russian operatives. The question on the collusion piece is, "Do you as an American citizen want this type of person as your President? The kind of man who along with his aides openly welcomed the help of a foreign enemy win the election?" Think about that as you vote again in 2020. |
All we have seen is Barr's interpretation of elements of the Mueller report. We have seen nothing from the Mueller report but partially excerpted phrases. Remember the Nunes memo that was cast one way, but once released, showed in context, something completely different? |
So it was coincidence that on the day of the Trump Tower meeting, Trump announced a major speech on Hillary's foibles? It was mere coincidence that within 1/2 hour of the Access Hollywood tape coming out, Russian bots were pushing Wikileaks info on Hillary as a pedophile and Podesta's email? So it is a coincidence that within weeks of Manafort passing on sensative polling information, Russian hackers were caught on videotape pushing fake information to social media outlets? It wasn't Mueller's job to exonerate anyone. It was Mueller's job to find facts. Those facts need to be shared with the Congress. What Barr has to say about them is meaningless to everyone but people like you who don't understand the role of an investigator as opposed to a judge and jury. |
Hahahaha. The memo says explicitly the Trump campaign rejected multiple offers of assistance by Russian-related operatives. Learn how to read. |
I don't know why you think this helps Trump. It is up to a Jury or the Congress to determine if the President committed a crime, not Mueller and certainly not Barr. |
Neither the Trump campaign nor Trump ever reported actions of the Russian to the US authorities. Never. In fact, Trump railed against the US Intel repeatedly. Why? |
