Guilty, not guilty, on the run, dead, pedophile, bla bla bla

IF he did this...then what a sick sick person. It's horrible, I hope and pray that the children were not harmed but what do I know about the subject? NOTHING. I can personally say I have never had something this horrid come into my life and am very thankful for that.

IF he didnt...well his actions make him look guilty but (and a very small but) Wouldnt the police have enough now to make his name public and therefore issue warrants or something?

Let's not cause mass hysteria here okay? I had teachers in high schoold (mid twenties males) that I would be more concerned about with the teenage girls. One bad apple doesnt mean they all are bad. Right?

I hope that he is found...that his family gets peace...and that everyone can have a final say and move on.

The family needs to rally around each other...this is going to be hard on them and they didnt have anything to do with this. So thats who my thoughts and prayers go to.

To the PP your prayers go out to the family of the teacher?

How about the kids who have been affected by the teacher! And yes I am a Beauvoir parent and know that there are kids affected. Negatively affected.

The family of the teacher knows exactly what this guy is/was. Don't think they didn't have anything to do with this. They may even be harboring him.

The only truly innocent ones are the kids. And their innocence has been stolen from them.

Hopefully the police can determine who these children/child are or at least identify the homes the photos were taken in.

Honestly, if you were in charge of a camera, and inappropriate pics were found on it, what would you? I bet you would be scared and you may even panic but I know I would have called the police myself. I would have wanted to help the children and resolve the issue and at no point would I have been afraid for myself, I would have wanted to seek help for the children and find the sick criminal who took the pics. I cannot speak for what other people would have done. Would your gut instinct be to run?

no, an innocent would not run

unless you truly believed that beauvoir was so powerful, it controlled the press, the police, the prosecutors, the judge, and prospective jurors

Thank you, that was my point. Someone got it. He may be scared shitless but why run. He has a religious community to turn to if he was innocent. At this point my heart hurts for those boys each time I look at my child. I cannot imagine someone taking pics of my child or what came about to take the pics. So sad.

hi all,
i just wrote a quick email to pat collins at nbc asking if he's learned any more and whether he'll be doing another story on it soon. i figured, he seems like a good guy, old fashioned investigator reporter, he may actually write back...and guess what, he did. he said he's working on another story, he's not sure when it will air, sounds like he has more information. (obviously he wasn't about to give any details). i'm glad he's working on the story.

I hate to play Devil's Advocate, but -

Taking a look at the members of the Beauvoir Family, those currently at the school, or who have recently left.

Press - Check
Police - Check
Prosecutors - Check
Judge - Check

Seems like they do have the bases covered.

Perhaps there will be some movement on the waitlist if some families flee due to this problem and the obvious cover up! Parents start calling the admissions folks!

This post is ridiculous!! There are folks out there who are fueling the fire in order to secure admissions for their little darlings. FYI - July 1st has come and gone; in the admissions world this is an important date. Check out aisgw.org to figure out why. Anyone hoping for a slot your chances are slim. Sorry.

Deja vu all over again.

If you are going to post on this thread, might as well make it something that hasn't been expressed a gazillion amount of times previously. We can tolerate speculation, and conspiracy theories, and rank hearsay. But repetition is just, so, without imagination, pedestrian, and unnecessary.

Here's a new one - exactly what are the potential criminal charges in this case?
Anonymous
OMG...please don't invite now an onslaught of speculation about that one. Don't we have enough?

To save you all the time...

12 different posts on the possible charges, including one person chiming in authoritatively now and again that it's a hell of a lot more than a few pictures, I can tell you!
...interspurced with questions about how they can charge someone for pictures which maybe can't be proven are actually his!
...interspurced with someone saying authoritatively that the pictures WERE his, and that is only backed up by the fact that the person is now a fugitive from justice
---interspurced with questions a few entries on, "Can't we just wait to see what happens before we all speculate?"

I think I've had it with this show. Nothing but reruns.

i think you missed the PP's point as well as your spell check

i am curious, legally speaking, what are the formal charges one would face

Deeper into my spelling inferiority complex I go! Sorry.

"Inferiority" is a tough one to spell!

If anyone does respond to the crim charges q, how much jail time for each one?
