Ya’ll are nutty and care way too much.

Good lord, what’s wrong with you and your husband? Please don’t take recs from Meghan Sussex…unless you’re laying a trap through this post for a future tragic WaPo Metro headline: “Beloved Vienna Mid-Range Earner and Father Stung to Death by Swarm in Amateur Apiary.”

Yeah no, you are nuts. The PP was right.

You and PP are not smart. Anyone who cannot see through the bullshi!y on tbis show has every screw loose. It’s an intelligence thing.

Oh no! Some catty b on the internet thinks I'm NOT SMART!!!

At least I'm not spending a ton of emotional energy hating a woman who doesn't even know I exist. Still sounds like I'm winning!

When you’re wrong, you’re wrong.

But she totally didn't know who Harry was when that totally not a foreign intel asset introduced them.

What? I've ignored these two for so long. Where can I read more about this?

This. The worst complaint about her is that she's pretentious and out of touch - so are oodles of white women in the lifestyle space.

I see several people describe her as "not a nice person" and then in the same breath say she's no Martha Stewart....surely you don't think Martha Stewart, who cheated on her husband (to be fair he cheated on her more), is a known bully, and whose adult daughter barely speaks to her is significantly nicer????

I have seen multiple articles from British outlets mad that Meghan said "noodles" instead of "spaghetti." The hatred of this woman is insane. Watch it or don't but the reaction is so outsized to anything she has ever don.e

She got horrific reviews from The Guardian. Is that “bullying”? Are those columnists “personal” in their “deep hatred” of Meghan? Is calling tone-deaf extraordinarily poorly made entertainment for what it is “bullying”? Be less insane, please.

Don’t worry, the American outlets were even more critical but not over her word choice.

You are far more pretentious and nasty than Meghan Markle ever has been. Good lord. Taking shots at salary and laughing about her husband dying because he thought a show was cute? Wtf?

Not pretentious! Astute.

PP and her happy husband can definitely enjoy Dame Sussex - I’m not stopping them from taking notes of what’s impressing them!!!! Yay!!!

Anonymous wrote:Meghan revealed that she decided to film With Love, Meghan in a nearby rental to protect her family. She and Prince Harry are parents to two children: 5-year-old Archie Harrison and 3-year-old Lilibet Diana.

“I wanted to protect that safe haven,” she told People in an exclusive interview. “We’re a close-knit family, and I love those moments — putting Lili down for a nap, having lunch together, having sacred time together at the end of the day."

She continued, "Our kitchen is where Mama just cooks for the family, and with a crew of 80-plus people, that’s a lot of people to have in your house!”

While the series’ interior scenes were filmed in the farmhouse, a few scenes showcase the exterior of her Montecito house, including the backyard, chicken coop, and orchard.

Who talks like that about their nuclear family with kids 5 and under? “We’re a close knit family!” It’s strange, tense, and unnatural.

I think she’s trying as carefully as possible to acknowledge that her privilege allows her that slower pace of life, and kind of defending that choice a little bit. The examples she gives (eating lunch together, being the one to put baby down for a nap) are not available to a dual-income family with parents who travel all the time for work and outsource the majority of their childcare (and remember, her foil here is similarly privileged people making a different choice). But no matter what she does, doesn’t do, says, doesn’t say, she’ll get hate.

Okay but that's also what SAHMs have, and they don't call it a "close knit family." It just means you have a lot of time to spend with your kids and you enjoy and appreciate that.

I'm always a little leery when people self proclaim that they are a "close knit" or "tight knit" family.

Wtf lol. You people will find anything to complain about.

You’re such an angry little rube. You’re perfect for Meghan’s tips and tricks.

Yes ma’am. Took me a week, burned out my triceps doing all this work over so much time…glad my service is appreciated here!

At this point, I want Meghan to keep going. She's terrible and just keeps at it. She's so insane and her IDGF attitude is refreshing. So. Tone. Deaf. I'm finally on board with the Meghan Show.

She is warm, inviting, curious, and likable. If Meghan could have accomplished this vibe, she would have had something. She didn’t and she doesn’t. This show will obviously get the attention out of the gate, but mark my words… it will be out of the top 10 within the week. Maybe sooner.

Pamela does well in this format because she is the opposite of Meghan-- stunningly self-aware and doesn't take herself too seriously. And she's actually a better actress than Meghan.

Plus she is interesting because she has had more than 30 years of hard work (successful and not) in the industry, plus personal trials and tribulations that she has overcome, including a dang sex tape.

Yeah it feels like PA is not trying to prove anything at this stage. She's got a long past.

Basically the opposite of MM.

You contrast Pamela Anderson….no makeup at all, does not care if people screech that she looks pale or shiny or washed out or whatever…with Meghan Markle. She truly does not care. She makes you feel like you can relax too because no one is trying to curate perfection whereas Meghan quite obviously has o perfectly arranged every disheveled tendril of her hair to look just so. I feel you would have real talk with PA, whereas you get a lot of very self-conscious “OK GALS” type performative nonsense among Meghan’s perfectly coiffed and dressed friend group. Mindy Kaling was made up like she was going to a photocall. I wouldn’t feel remotely relaxed in an environment like that.

I hate that hair tendril look so much. It's so contrived.

Every single thing about the show feels contrived, that’s the problem. Martha S never felt that way.

Oh yes she did. Martha was painfully contrived. Trust me, I watched her throughout grad school on daytime tv 2000-2002. She was stilted and awkward. She was pretentious. Her recipes were terrible. BUT she had good taste, great design sensibility and a genuine interest in antiques, design and craft projects.

I feel like Martha owns her obsessiveness and pretense. She never fakes that chillax Cali vibe where everything just falls into place magically and it's joy not perfection. Martha is extremely believable as a platoon commander with a clipboard, which is clearly needed to implement her plans.
