I remain skeptical that there is any chance of this successfully happening.

Gasp! Republicans don’t like crime in their neighborhoods either!

The truth is that the vast majority of donors on that list are Democrats. And the vast majority are DC residents. It’s an incredibly impressive group. My name will be on the next report.

Many Dems, many larger donations and many from Ward 6.

I see lots of my neighbors and acquaintances from the Hill on that list.

It is a very impressive group of Republican donors. I don't know how it will play running their preferences against Allen if they get to the recall election.

It’s a bipartisan list. Sorry you’re disappointed that people are treating this like a quality of life issue instead of a team jersey exercise.

Not even quality of life, but not wanting to LOSE life, like 2 fathers did to 1 carjacker, tragically. RIP. Or want their baby not to get bashed in the face with a brick in her stroller, breaking bones.

Still better than insurrection by a lawless mob.

If you are unable to stay on topic, seek help for you OCD. The subject line is right at the top.

Not at all related. But let's make this simple. The attempted coup was very bad and the perpetrators should be arrested, prosecuted, convicted and jailed. Likewise, carjacking etc is very bad and the perpetrators should be arrested, prosecuted, convicted and jailed.

You are equating the overthrow of a duly elected government with carjacking? There are no words.

Just ignore the Allenites - it’s all about sanguine provision action and deflection.

DC makes a mockery of Democracy every time it elects Democrats turned “independents” to the seats reserved for minority parties. It’s stacks the Council with radical progressives like Allen and leads to dangerous pro criminal policies. Now, the people are fighting back.

I think Allen and his supporters would be wise to take this seriously. Four hundred people donated money to this effort in only 10 days. They’re up over $60,000. And it will be a lot easier for people to give a signature than money.

I think if they bring in a serious candidate he’s toast.

And there are more people per square inch on the Hill who know how to run political campaigns than probably anywhere else on earth.

They will be kicked off Justice Lab’s holiday card list. They will never recover personally or professionally.
