Ted Lasso - Season 3

I had my doubts about this season, but the latest episode was so good. Final episode next week. I think they will stick the landing.

Love where the football is going and the development of Jamie, but everything else feels unfinished.

They introduced his mom to show how much Ted has grown - he was finally able to confront his mom about why they had never talked about his dad's suicide, or worked through it together. The whole reason he is/was so relentlessly optimistic is because that's how she raised him - never showing sadness or asking for help. That's also why Michelle left him - because he could never just be real. He realized all of this in therapy. Loved her character, btw. Such a great episode.

Jamie's dad, in rehab.

I thought that was Jamie's dad in the stands, nodding when somebody said Jamie's dad must be proud. But I've forgotten what his dad looks like, so I dunno.

DP. I actually don't think that was rehab... it looked like a facility for dementia patients, or some sort of assisted living.

Is it just me or does anybody else find this offensive? I was especially offended when she seemed to understand the "humor" in Jamie changing the E to a U in KENT on the back of the kit he got for Roy on Uncle Day.
