Why does VHSL brackets show different teams (i.e., Madison)?

Yorktown/LB has the potential to be a great game. Yorktown is playing really well now and LB, as we have seen, can beat anyone on the right night.
Madison killed West Potomac earlier this year, but West Po is playing better and it should be closer than 13-3. Battlefield and Patriot on the other side should get the fifth game we have been predicting. Season so far is a 2-2 tie, with Patriot now holding a slight goal differential advantage 30-27. Lots of teams could win it this year. Shot in the dark prediction - Yorktown/Patriot final - Patriot wins 8-6. |

I see things differently in my murky crystal ball. I agree Yorktown is on a roll and peaking at the right time. Aside from LB beating Robo, they are inconsistent, losing twice to West Po. I'm going with Yorktown, 9-3.
Madison/West Po will be a closer game. West Po too is on a roll recently, but I think Madison can shake off last night's loss to Yorktown. 8-6 Warhawks. Battlefield/Patriot depends on whether all their key players are healthy. If they are, I'm tipping slightly to Battlefield, 9-7. I agree Yorktown will be in the finals, but against Battlefield, and Yorktown will repeat in an 8-5 win. |

Ditto. Perhaps VHSL should install play-in games in the areas that have weaker teams that advance, like NCAA.
