I think the cross is going to be good. What everyone is forgetting in this circus is that he is suing her for an OP-Ed piece that was published in 2018. A full two years after we were already witnesses to their toxic and screwed up relationship. Disney was already thinking about dropping him before 2018. So, while his nightmare of a marriage probably had a shitty effect on his career, combined with his age, etc,
I don’t think he can tie any damages to that one article. Also, she has to be credible on one act of violence in my opinion and then her statements are not false. You can be both a victim of assault one day and also a perpetrator the next. To me, all of this is smoke and mirrors and the attorneys have to draw the focus on the actual legal claim and burden of proof. Neither side should win their claim against the other. Defense verdict for both. |

Her position has always been the article isn’t about him so is she really going to go down the path that he was abusive? She’s not the plaintiff so she doesn’t have the burden to prove anything but seems odd if she has claimed all along the piece isn’t about him to all the sudden say, ok it was about him but clearly you see he was abusive. |

| She is the Plaintiff also. She filed a counter suit. I agree that her strategy should not be to say that it wasn’t about it. It clearly was. Not SOLELY about him, but it was in part. She won’t seem creditable if she tries to argue that. |

I just googled old photos and he was still really attractive when they married 10 or whatever years ago. This relationship really took a toll on his appearance.
And he was not "fading" career-wise before her. Brad Pitt and Robert Downey Jr are his same age. Denzel Washington and Tom Hanks are nearly 10 years older and remain A-listers. Depp's career crashed right after this and BECAUSE of this. |

She dumped him after the divorce. She used him to cover the attorneys fees for the divorce lmao. I forget where I read it, but once her divorce was finalized she ran as fast as she could |
