I watched the hearing with an open mind and came away with many deep seated concerns about Kavanaugh’s character.

Two things stood out: His highly partisan take was disappointing. It was also kind of surprising he deliberately lied about the drinking age at the time. That fact is easily checkable and shows that he kid.

He could drink legally in DC. Tons of people went into DC to parties and bars. This is not a big deal.

The centrists reportedly are going to vote as a block. They have NOT said which way they are voting. They include Collins, Murkowski, Manchin and a couple of others. The ABA report is a big deal.

There are people on this thread and in the US Senate who will hate anyone Trump appointed for this seat and would have done the same to them because they are so afraid Roe v. Wade will be overturned. Kavanaugh, as Graham said so succinctly is in the wrong town at the wrong time. I don’t know how our country ever heals from such hatred.

Bull$hit. No one feels this way about Gorsuch. They might not like his politics, but he is a normal and decent guy. He could even make it through an interview without crying and being a sniveling ahole. It was so apparent that Kavanaugh is an entitled, spoiled ahole who thinks he is entitled to this seat, regardless of what he has done.

Except the reported drinking was in Maryland. That’s where all the parties where. He never mentioned DC on his calendar.

Then teach your son he has no right to a woman's body and not
To be a rapist. He will be fine. False accusations are so rare.

I am a woman who would be horrified if a CBF testified about my son the way she did about Kavanaugh. Because she was credible and believable and not likely lying.

Having grown up with an alcoholic parent, the judge was acting as if he is a dry drunk - although he did admit he still drinks. The violence/anger that he displayed yesterday is only an inkling of what he displays when drunk.

Flake.

the prominent Jesuit magazine America rescinded its endorsement of Kavanaugh and urged his nomination withdrawn.

I am a mother who is so scared for my toddler son. I worry that, as he grows up, he will be negatively influenced by our society and the current culture that does not respect women. All I want is for him to be a good man.

He will vote if out of committee. His name says it all. He cannot he trusted.

Look like another Kavanaugh lie during the hearing.

Kavanaugh claimed there was a “sworn” statement from Mark Judge, but it’s actually a letter from his lawyer that’s not even admissible in court as a statement by Judge.

How can a SC nominee get away with so many blatant lies?

If he can’t be trusted, maybe he will vote no.

With no damn evidence. Nothing to support her claims. Nothing.
If my son were ever accused of anything close to this with a total lack of evidence it would be laughable. An accusation does not equal guilt.

Your response is disingenuous at best, despite your dollar sign.
