Landon 10-Bullis 5
Saw this coming from a mile away. Bordley is pretty smart. He knew coming in to his last season that he did not have the same personnel that he did last year, but he wants to win the IAC. His scheduling allowed for this years team to mature and gel under pressure. Now they are "IAC ready"....I see their only real test as SSSA. Bullis in their current state won't make the final. |
Looking more and more like the sssa win over the hill was a fluke. |
What happened with the 2 minute Bullis penalty? I missed it. The game looked like it might start getting chippy but the refs must have said something to everyone. |
Was the 2 minute penalty in the first half? |
No comment for the Bullis cheerleader? |
Why? |
Landon dominated from start to finish yesterday!
|
When is the Bullis administration going to learn you just simply can’t go out and buy a team of players. You can’t build a team this way.
It’s borderline embarrassing how many transfers the school has brought in, several of them highly regarded athletes in their respected sport. Good to see Landon stick it to them yesterday! |
Slow your roll everyone. Bullis has way too much talent that be easily discounted. League play has just begun. And the tournament is what counts. By then the team will be just fine and to be reckoned with. |
According to who? Ty Xanders who is paid by club programs to hype up individual players? I didn't see much talent on the field for Bullis yesterday (other than #19) or even a well coached team. Bottom line, Bullis tried to buy a football championship this off-season by bringing double digit transfers and look how it worked out for them. Expect to see the same result for the lacrosse team. |
Let's be honest -- every school has that over-enthusiastic parent going nuts in the stands. At your school, it might be your best friend, it might be you. It's not something unique to Bullis, or lacrosse, or private schools. |
Lose to Norfolk Academy, and barely squeaking by Episcopal in OT |
Episcopal is good! This not one of your old episcopal teams from the past.
Every 3 - 4 seasons they field a strong squad. |
Same can be said for NA. They are also a very good team (and well coached), but neither team is at the same level as the hill, making the sssa win look slightly flukish |
A win is a win. SSSA is a good team. I wouldn't dismiss them. |
