The police had to say that to keep the public calm. What they say and mean are two different things.

This sure is one reckless family. This entire family tree just sounds rotten.

Do you think the wife had any clue what she was marrying in to? Or she just saw prominent family/$$$$ and didn’t care?

How would you know?

She has no online or media presence at all. She could have seen $$$ signs and thought 'here's my ticket out of my rural hellhole' and just married in.

She certainly sat by as he fed a 20-year opoid addiction and don't give me bull that wasn't her responsibility - how do you not notice your spouse is an addict for two decades?

Now they're saying at least 10 years. Realized it looked bad for his law firm that he practiced for 20 years as an addict. We dont know the truth.

Jeez louise - most of his charges are related to his financial crimes as a lawyer - stealing from clients et cetera. He hasn't even been charged with murder (yet).

The podcast is fabulous. This guy is the embodiment of the rich good-ole-boy network at work. Law didn't apply to him or his family, until now it's all caught up with him. Sooner or later the older son is likely to get swept up, too.
