I love Kevin. He always, always makes me laugh. Actually so does Randall, when he's not being super earnest and in do-gooder mode. Beth too - very funny.

This Randall storyline is so freaking offensive!

1) WHO would run for office in a city/state they don’t live in? Is that even legal? THE AUDACITY.

2) THEN he, a Black man, is going to cozy up with the Korean community in this Black neighborhood? Did he miss the 90s? The LA riots post-Rodney King? All the tension between Black residents and Korean corner store owners in cities across the country?

What I found unbelievable is that Beth felt so bad and apologized/comforted her daughters for her reaction after her daughter told her that she TOTALLY SUCKS (specifically she said that so and so's mom does NOT totally suck, as opposed to Beth)

I didn't think that Beth lost her cool to the point that is was inappropriate to the situation. She must be a mom that NEVER has even raised her voice to her children.

With Kate many of her issues are tied to her obesity. She knows it. It is obvious to evereyone, but no one else can mention it when she whines about not being able to do things the "normal" way because it hurts her feelings.
I'm surprised the show has backed off of her day to day weight-related issues. Like when she supposedly flew out to Los Angeles for the surgery, my first though was wouldn't she need 2 plane seats to accomodate her?
Not to mention some of us may have a "Kate" in our lives. They can be exhausting and frustrating as time goes on.

It absolutely is. That's the only thing you can see when she's on screen - how heavy she is. It detracts from her otherwise excellent acting. I'm thinking about how much exertion it takes her just to get up when she's sitting down, or how heavily she must be breathing when she's out walking. It just looks so incredibly uncomfortable.

As a parent of a former Girl Scout, the Scout leaders reserve dates and times at specific locations. You don't just show up to sell - the troop has to reserve a slot.
