You are not tuned in, if Prep has even a modest improvement in coaching they will be very dangerous - they have a ton of talent to work with.

Bullis would appear to be the Douchebag great lake, given the methods of the Headmaster and Board that run the place, a comical record of players coming/going...even with FULL scholarships to the detriment of the other students! And no communication about the status of a 20 year coach/teacher, pathetic!

DCE is being kicked out of Bullis so they are begging to go to Prep. And yes, they are promising thst their players will come.

DCE will sell its players anywhere in order to make money.

Apparently they haven't. Why would you take on Coaches that tried to orchestrate a removal of a Head Coach in concert with a parent/board member? Not sure as a parent I would be happy in the school hiring coaches who have shown themselves to have no morals or integrity. What does that show their kids?

I also can't understand why parents would keep moving their kids from school to school following a particular coach. Kids need to develop relationships within a school of friends and teachers. You can do that with constant moving. What does this tell a potential college coach about how your kid will be on the team if they kept moving to different HS because of coaching issues?

DCE/Asst Bullis coaches and DCE/Bullis parent/boardmember were purportedly got the longtime HC who was playing non-DCE upper class recruits over DCE Bullis players fired, but were unsuccessful in the attempt based on alumni intervention, DCE coaches left/asked to leave and DCE might be looking for alternative practice fields, now or when contract ends. Having bounced between several privates and Churchill over recent years, the departing DCE coaches are purportedly going to Georgetown Prep and their value to GP is draw rising freshmen from DCE teams to GP, or maybe even recruiting Bullis players follow them there. Posters are upset that Bullis HC wasn't supported, DCE coaches not to be trusted and are greedy for power/$, community and respect being dropped in pursuit of winning, hoping this doesn't reoccur at GP.

IN fact, there are posts saying that Bullis players are leaving, which is absurd.
DCE can promise all they want, but Bullis and Prep are very different schools and most kids don't seriously consider both.

The Mater Dei imbalance toward Gonzaga was a function of the economy a few years back but is becoming more even. Urick will be fine.

Urick is not fine. Prep has been irrelevant for four years and Urick's teams have done nothing. He is on a very hot seat.
