It's like some dummies just learned the term side piece today and don't quite know what it means but they think it's just fun to say. |
LOL, I'm guilty of this. I didn't want to call her a floozy. |
According to OP, their Facebook pages sayi'in a relationship with x' and link to the other. She has met two friends and an uncle. Of course some cheaters create multiple FB pages, but she has no reason to think she's an other. |

Call this number and ask who to speak to regarding a missing person from their community:
2629 State Route 22A P.O. Box 125 Hampton, NY 12837 Phone: 518-282-9830 Fax: 518-282-9042 |
Op here: not east Hampton. It's just Hampton, NY. Close to border of vermont |
Please see my response above. I'm sure the nice people at the Hampton City Hall can help you right out with a person to talk to. |
It infuriates me if this loser was really out there to shoot bobcats. What pathetic little man he must be, to kill a non-food animal like that. I hope he's in jail. |
Tell them: "My boyfriend who lives in Hampton is missing and I'd like to have the town police to go over and perform a wellness check." |

agreed. so tired of reading "side chick" stop, PP. We know what you think. |
She's a side chick. She's 4 hours away she doesn't know where he lives she doesn't know where he works and she hasn't MET anyone she just KNOWS OF the two friends and the uncle. |
NP here who read the whole thread (I need to get a life). I'm surprised by the amount of pessimistic responses jumping to the "other woman" scenario and responses insulting OP. The scenario described by OP doesn't sound that strange to me. They met online, have met in person but are long distance, are in a relationship on Facebook, and she has met some of his friends and family members. The fact that they are in a relationship on Facebook and that she has met some of his friends and family members (and remember they are in their mid 20s) to me means she is not likely the other woman. I trust her judgement that this is out of the ordinary for him to not be in touch (she knows him; we do not). Also, she mentioned he had to drive back 9 hours by himself, so it seems possible if something happened on the drive back that his family might not know yet, unless the Police were involved and were able to contact them. Sounds like he works for Farms and is off on his own a lot, so unless he has checked in physically or has another cell phone for work, how else would they reach him if not by his cell phone, which is off? Many people in their 20s don't have home phones. I don't see why OP would be expected to have his friends and family's phone numbers after 6 months of dating. Many people don't have their phone numbers publicly listed these days, so getting that info would be hard. Her best bet would be friending the relatives etc on facebook and asking them to follow up, and calling the police in the district where he lives and where he was (if known). There is a chance that he has decided to fall off the face of the earth, but I wouldn't be so pessimistic as to go there first. I would treat it with concern and if OP finds out he just decided to disappear without officially breaking up with her, then he looks like the jerk. |
Well, technically she says: >>>OP here: I know his two best friends and his uncle which I stated.<<< That makes it sound like she knows the names of the two best friends. IMO she should have contacted them by now. |
+1000 The DCUM conspiracy theorists are out in full force today. Sorry you are getting the brunt of it, OP. |
