DP. I really don't think people thought Trump was the better option, except a handful of people I know who have truly deluded themselves about the guy's character. They think he was the least worst option. And that says a lot about what people think about the policies AND culture the Democrats have put forward.

This, overwhelming percentage of Latinos in this country doesn't use or like the term. NYTimes reported it's something like 4-6% that support the term. Maybe start calling people but what THEY think they should be called.

I also think she appears too weak on the world stage and that's not because she is a woman or POC. The border crisis hurt her. Also talking out of both sides of her mouth regarding the Israel/Hamas situation didn't help and running different ads about that based on constituency made it worse.

She also made a poor choice for VP. He lies too much, is too far left and does not project competence. I think she would have had a better chance with Shapiro. I would have preferred to even see Shapiro running for president.

I’m a Dem who detests Trump but understands why he won.

It’s everything. A lot of issues and aggravating sound bites from the Left on myriad things. It isn’t just transpeople in the locker room, so don’t fixate on that reason.

Like another poster said, this is really an indictment of the far left that somehow took up way too much time and space in Dem politics. We need Dems to have a Sister Souljah moment and call out the crazy.
