Love the passivity and wishful thinking strategy, yet again. |

Daggett’s awesome. He’s going to ruin the economy within two weeks, just in time for the homestretch. And Kamala will own it ![]() |
It's a tough position for Biden/Harris. If they prevented the strike from happening then they appear to be both anti-union and communist. Neither is helpful in the must win state of Michigan. If they let it go on through the election then the economy tanks and unions like the Teamsters and UAW are harmed. That's also not good for the election (or America). Meanwhile the ILA demands are absurd and their leader is cartoonishly evil but they seem reasonablish on the surface. The longer this strike goes on the more information about Daggett, the demands, the current contract and the impact comes out. This then gives Biden a chance to do something without as many negative consequences. At the same time, Daggett has been lying pretty blatantly about CEO pay and corporate profits which amplifies Dem messaging on corporatism. So there's a small side benefit. I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt now but if this lasts more than two weeks... |
It’s fun watching these politicians play got potato with unions. Bad for us but entertaining. Dems have them. No we don’t you have have them. No, you. No, YOU. |
