He's clearly vacillating. At the press conference after the vote on Oct 3, he was asked and his answer was "I'll look at that." So if the press, or even his own staff, thought he might go, it is not surprising. Today he says he'll stay. Maybe he pulled himself together, or maybe he's going to change his mind again.
