Senator Tuberville self id’s as white nationalist and wants white nationalists in military

I find it's interesting to see how anti-military Republicans have become these days. That's a significant change. You would never see a Tommy Tuberville 20 years ago. He would have been regarded as a traitor in the 9/11 era.

The fact that Republicans support Tuberville as he weakens the military is very telling. This is a very dangerous party. Republicans really are the enemy within.

Yep trump is not the problem. He just best reflects the values of the people who vote for him. When trump goes the republicans will continue on their path.

Why won't he?

All Schumer can do is put them up for a vote individually, which would eat up months of floor time when there are other things (such as funding the government) that also have to happen. Some are saying to just put the few top officers up for votes, but that doesn't send a great message to all the other officers.

He could attach it to the funding bill. All it takes is a will.

Once again, you focus on what Democrats should do to fix a Republican made problem. Why don’t you list the ways Tuberville the Moscow Traitor could be punished by his party?

Well Mitch McConnell will do something about it!
Oh, wait, maybe not....Moscow Mitch and all that.

Democrats have a majority in the senate. At what do you think the dems should use their power ans stop blaming the republicans?

DP. You think it’s a good use of the Senate’s time to put up every one of the 300+ officers names for individual votes?

No, he can’t. That’s not how Senate rules work. Just stop. McConnell as the Republican Leader owns this. Wicker, as Ranking Republican on Armed Services, owns this.

A simple majority cannot override what Tuberville is doing. Please know the Senate rules before blaming the libs.

The GOP has, once again, crapped their pants. It’s not up to the Democrats to change your filthy drawers and buy and air freshener.

You can't attached executive confirmations to legislative actions. You have no idea how the Senate works.

Soldiers seeking abortion can take three weeks of leave in ADDITION to their regular leave.

If a parent dies and a soldier needs to go home, the soldier must use his/her own leave.

Does that seem right? Shouldn't the soldier use her own leave for an abortion?

He was in on 1/6 - remember the call from Rudy? He is part of the GOP authoritarian movement. Anything that undermines the US and Biden for the GOP is his game. It is called being a traitor.

This. And it has nothing to do with leave. It’s all about him wanting attention.

It’s not about him wanting attention, it’s about the GOP not wanting to let the Democrats have what they earned in the 2020 election. It’s about denying Biden the ability to change the direction of the military. It’s about making sure that America’s military is weakened universally, not in a thoughtful, budget reducing way but with a sledgehammer. It’s about the GOP’s hope for a terrorist strike or act of war that we’re flat footed for so that they can blame Biden for. It’s about compromising our military in the hopes that Russia’s does better. It’s about the GOP’s contempt for the military.

Tommy Tuberville’s need for attention ain’t even on the list.

This has nothing to do with "changing the direction of the military" - these are career military officers who have earned promotions and our country NEEDS their services in the slots they have been designated for.

No, this is about a corrupted Senator doing the work of our foreign adversaries to harm our military readiness.
