Oakton’s JMU commit only missed two games last year, both regional playoff games. I agree that the Oakton v Woodson matchup should be good. Each team has a JMU (D1 #5) commit/USA Lacrosse H.S. All-American, and both teams have good goalies. |
That's a bummer to get injured when it mattered. Hopefully coaches have a deep bench so they are not reliant on one player. Opponents will see right through that and adjust. |
All hail Battlefield! I welcome our new GLax overlords…
|
Running clock in first half… too bad it didn’t happen when it mattered. |
Someone should tell the Bobcat coaches that all these goals they are scoring here tonight cannot be retroactively applied to last June…. |
I like ugly purple and multiple shades of green on my football fields… |
Battlefield 18 Yorktown 5.
|
Open the community gates, it’s a party! |
Wow! What does that say about Robinson? |
With that score, Yorktown may allow 20+ this Friday. |
Last year won’t help them this year though… New season |
LOVE this LOL. Yorktown girls and coach think so highly of themselves. |
4) Yorktown (1-1) – Some have been writing off the defending champs, but not many publics hang within single digits of SSSAS and then go out and handle Robinson. While injuries may have played some factor in those results, the Patriots are still a force to be reckoned with and their next 4 games give them a chance at a direct path back to the top spot.
SSSA this year is not a competitor in the ISL. Saying Yorktown kept them within single digits is not saying that much. SMH public school lacrosse. |
Battlefield came to play. Watch out Oakton, Madison, Centreville, and Langley. You’re next ![]() |
Not a Battlefield parent but the demolition of YHS is impressive. |
