Look out for sssa! They have the only statement win in the area by beating hill. It’s goig to be a great season! Awesome for local lax fans.

How did sssa do against Norfolk Academy?

Not sure what the relevance is of Gonzaga having a football lineman on attack, but I guess that's what passes for debate skills at Bullis.

Imagining everybody is a Bullis parent. I guwas that's what passes for critical thinking at Gonzaga.

So how does this work. If you call a stick check and are wrong, you get penalized?
What happened here?

I love the Cheeseheads! We’re the best on paper! We could have won if there was a 5th quarter, lost the other four but don’t look at that. You guys had a lineman playing attack (he was good btw). We can cheap shot you and you complain, dang Catholics. Our best player on paper isn’t the one Ty Xander’s says it should be. We love transfers who come just for the game and not a free ride. Our coach is a great guy.

Cheeseheads Rule!

Gnnzaga running out onto the field to fight over a cheap shot shows their unsportsmanlike conduct, from a school that put a 300lb Alabama committed lineman in as a attack.

Let's see who is the bigger a-hole... How about you all are.

So you agree that it was a cheap shot.
I'm sorry, why can't a kid play attack if he's big? Norte Dame had an attackman (who finished up as a Terp) several years ago, who was also a starting tight end. Nearly as big as Petibon(300#er) Was his successful career an ongoing cheap shot at both schools?

That was will Yeatman. He played in the NFL too.

Everyone keeps adding fuel to the fire on how Bullis conducts its lacrosse program.

Other than the STAB kid and senior transfer from SS.SA, how many other new players arrived at Bullis this Fall?

It’s interesting that Bullis puts this much focus on its boys lacrosse program because the girls team is terrible. Do they mostly care about boys sports?
Anonymous
The only sports the school cares about are the following:

Football, boys lacrosse, boys hoops, track & field.

Their girls track team is one of the best in the country.
Anonymous
No idea about most of their programs, just know their girls track team is one of the best in the country. As is their boys team.

The post you quote is really old. Holton did not live up to Holton parents hype last year. Unlikely to be any better this year. Visi OTOH is going to be one to beat this year. The strong new coach and assist from last year are back. Amazing senior class and fantastic freshman class. Visi lost to BI by only 1 two weeks ago. Look for Visi to take SSSAS this year.

+2 for this. We saw the BI and Visi game. Both are very strong teams and it could have gone either way for the final score. Agree that someone is trolling.

Yes,that BI girls team is stacked. Crazy number of top DI program recruits at every grade. Standouts flocking to play for Sofield. Visi also looks great for next few years. SSSAS doesn’t have much until the current freshmen age up. Look for SSSAS to be weaker than in recent past for next couple of years.

Will be interesting to see how all 3 managed in their recruiting for next years freshman class.

Visi and SSSA both tried hard to get a girl who chose Holton for 9th next year.

And Holton has tried hard for girls who ultimately went to Visi and SSSA. What is the point? Stop trying to insert Holton into the conversation, they are not at the same level as Visi & SSSA when it comes to lacrosse.

And Visitation is nowhere near Holton Arms when it comes to academics.

+1000

I would take the great academics and very strong (even if not top two) lacrosse any day over Visi and SSSA.

That makes sense. Most on this thread prefer their lacrosse with name calling and bench clearing brawl chat instead of talking about how academics and lacrosse can co-exist.
