Without impeachment, we probably would never have heard from the witnesses who testified during the inquiry. Now the American people have an even clearer picture of an inept, selfish, corrupt POTUS.

And yes, many Americans don't care, but that's besides the point.

Many other witnesses were suppressed. Do you care?

Sure. Would you like to inform us?

Mick Mulvaney, Don McGahn, John Bolton, and Rudy Giuliani were all denied by Trump. Hence the second article of impeachment.

I think we're on the same side. I thought you were a Trumper and you were going to say Chalupa, the Bidens, and the whistleblower.

Democrats should have gone to court to enforce the subpoenas. But they did not want to do so because it would take too long or they might lose.

The judiciary is the third co-equal branch and is there to resolve such issues. Not availing of this option and then whining about obstruction is pathetic.

Democrats don't realize what they have wrought with this dumb move to impeach Trump with the total assurance that he will be acquitted.

100% NRA A rating and otherwise a GOP in Dem clothing. He will lose his next election.

Have you seen a map of his district? A district that voted for trump. He wouldn’t be doing this if it wasn’t going to help him win.

lol. No, he did this because Donnie had a Miss Lindsey-style meeting with him, after which he began to have different feelings. So the question is “what is Donald blackmailing him with.”

Nope. The GOP is abusing process and procedures and then turning around and crying when the democrats hit back. Too bad. No, the democrats should not have waited until Trump cheated his way back into the White while the issues worked their way through the courts. F that.

Trump supporters protesting impeachment violently disrupted an event held to honor Adam Schiff for passing a resolution to condemn the Armenian genocide. Shameful.

If the Senate votes no on impeachment, are politicians allowed to get foreign help for elections? The Dems will need to start getting our Allies to back them and bring back order.

Most of our allies wisely won't touch our domestic issues. Russia is an outlier. They have little going for them so have no issues with being a global pariah.

Russia is not an ally.

There will be no "crying". The Senate will decisively reject the obstruction of Congress charge - and rightly so. If the Democrats will not use the judiciary to enforce subpoenas, there is no "obstruction". That is how the system works.

Of course, we will hear endless whining by Democrats about how the Republicans in the Senate will not uphold their constitutional obligations etc. But it will not make one bit of difference.

What is more I expect 2-4 Democratic senators to vote against this article of impeachment - and more than likely all the Republican senators to do the same.

Is there anything that the Democrats don't f**k up?

I know. I meant Russia is an outlier in general. But my writing was not clear.

Move to an authoritarian state, that is some high level propaganda you are parroting right there. The President is claiming "absolute privilege" - it is totally unprecedented, period. He doesn't make any sort of national security or attorney client claim that one could even argue in court. It is literally, I don't like the game so I am not going to play. The Constitution is clear about Congress having SOLE authority on impeachment proceedings. Most American (not you of course) see through this and understand exactly how corrupt it is.

You can see it as the Dems fcking things up. Or...

You can acknowledge it's not a level playing field when the Senate majority represents 44% of the country and is compromised by Russian money. They have rejected every check on this POTUS.

The contests for the White House are also not a level playing field. The GOP has managed to win ONE popular vote over the last 3 DECADES.

Tyranny of the minority.
